Then he uses the word and which is a conjunction tying all three of this together saying that there is one name in which to be baptized in. Now the question you have to ask yourselves is what is the name? Jesus said to baptize in the name, so what is the name? Jesus gave the name. He stated his name and his Father s name in John 5 43 I am come in my Father s name, and ye receive me not .. Then he gave the name of the Holy Ghost in John 14 26, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name So on the day of Pentecost Peter clarified by reminding the people that the name in which you should be baptized is in the Lord Jesus Christ name.
