John the baptist was filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother 's womb Luke 1:15 and never jibbered nor jabbered. The Lord Jesus had the Spirit without measure John 3:34 and no jabber. If tongues or water baptism were necessary for salvation, you would think He would have done both John 4:2. Peter was filled in Acts 4:8, no jabber, in vs 31 they were all FILLED with the Holy Ghost, and spake the word of God with boldness, no jabber. Acts 13:9 states that Paul was FILLED wht the Holy Ghost, no jabber. In verse 52 the were FILLED with no jabbering to follow. Bible tongues are languages Acts 2:6,8. What is your mother tongue? You would say English. When you get filled with the Holy Ghost it is for the power to witness Acts 1:8. The language of Heaven is Hebrew Acts 26:14 and Rev 19:1-4. Jesus spoke it from Heaven Alleluia is a transliteration of Hebrew.
