Paul is announcing the beginnings of his ministry, the fullfilment of what it was called to do by the Lord on his way to Damascus. His ministry is unique amongst the Apostles and the Prophets in that he emphasizes the effectiveness of the Faith of Jesus for Salvation and how no man comes to the Father except thru the Son, as noone dared to approach God on Mt Horeb but elected Moses to stand before God as an intermediarry. Then they were convinced that the only way to see God would be in death, that he is not accessable on this earth but only in the spiritual realm. Paul is saying a similar thing with Jesus, in that it is by his Faith and our belief in his resurrection or transformation into and out from the Spiritual place of God and his host of angels to this worldly place of flesh and blood, with no sense of what lies beyond, within, or besides. But Jesus by his resurrection clearly proved that the spiritual world is real and he lives there eternally, withthe Father and the heavenly hosts.
