Revelation 17 talks about the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: Her judgement is according to her deeds. She is said be a great whore, for she hath committed formication with the kings of the earth. If she had committed fornication, it should mean that she was primarily engaged to or married to someone else. Eph 5:22-25 The virtuous woman is represented by God 's true church, or the people who proffess pure faith. The great whore of revelation 17 is God 's church, or the people who professed pure faith having been loving and committing herself to the affairs of the world, both in material and spiritual things.
