2 Tim 2.26 To recover yourself from the snare of the devil. This verse means exactly what it says. We know the devil comes to steal , kill and to destroy John 10.10 He dose not come to the unsaved he has them already. There for he comes to the saved. 1 Peter 5.8 Be sober, be vigilant alert, prepared because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brothers that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. James tells us to Draw near to God cleanse our hands of wickedness repent and God will draw near to us. Through worship and adoration we draw near to God . By praising him and lifting Him up he will draw us near to him and quicken His word to us that is bring it to our mind and then we resist the devil by the word as Jesus did then we start learning to walk in the Spirit alway with grace Praying and praising without ceasing if need be under our breathe as well. There by walking in the spirit.
