    There's not a single verse in all the scripture that says the 3 1/2 year period gets shortened to 5 mos. It's another lie of "futurism" prophecy started by Rome. Not 1. The 3 1/2 yrs and 1260 days and 42 mos. are all the same dark ages ending in 1798 when France squashed the papacy. They were known as anti-christ by all til 1900s
