This chapter clearly shows Gideon working with God and in full obedience to God.
He does not question God but quietly does as God commands him to do letting God have full authority.
It reminds me of a time I didn't ask God for his permission or guidance I did what I wanted to without God's counsel and experienced loss and hurt. Things do not work out well when we go it alone.
God knows what is needed for every situation we are heading into He is precise and exact, without error.
