    Luke 1:1-4 cont... Now when we consider that it was God's injunction on the sons of Aaron to be the Keepers of the Holy Oracles, the Testimony of the Scriptures, for teaching and judging Israel; then we better understand how that it was imperative for them to have the Completed Testimony, to "know the certainty of those things, wherein [they] hast been instructed:" which was why they were written.
