    Under the first two seals that are opened for us to behold, is the beginning of the matter with the men of this world, in him who "began to be a mighty one in the earth;" and of his kingdom (Babel and Nineveh) which he created to subvert the minds of men and turn them away from God and virtue, unto moral slavery to himself; for the which cause comes the Day of God upon them; (Gen.10:8-12; 11:1-9).
