    Word; the first 3 words in the Bible are foundational. Christians and Jews have traditionally, overwhelmingly translated this to mean the absolute beginning. Again, you are trying to make the Bible fit man's science. If Science says that the earth existed before the six days of creation then the science is wrong. Trust the Word of God not man's science.
