  • Timothy Wayne George on Habakkuk 1 - 12 years ago
Habakkuk is a watchman, and he is crying out to God to do something about the evil that is going on in Judea. Well the Lord is about to use a nation more wicked than them to correct them.

So it is today, that the Lord will use the wicked people today to correct his people. God is holy, and his eyes too pure to look upon sin. No wonder why when Jesus cried out on the cross my
God why has thou forsaken me? It was at that time when our sin was placed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that the father had to turn his back on the son. Thank God that Jesus became our propituation. The discipline of the present time is not joyous, but grievous, yet nevertheless it yields the peaciable fruits of righteousness to those who are exercised there by. So God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that who ever believes in him would not perish, but would have eternal life. Jesus is our life, and when we come to him by faith, we will live with him through out eternity in heaven. So the just shall live by faith, and wait on the Lord. For the vision is for the end time, and it shall tarry yet it will speak.
