"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus " In the exhortation is the answer for all of us who profess faith in God and love for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: namely, that God wills for all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth: and while there are so many voices in the world all screaming for attention yet to us there is but One Voice Who would that all men be saved, and Who has commanded us to pray and to give thanks for them all. We must not let ourselves be deceived and drawn away by the voices of politics, or celebrity, or any of the things that the people of the world look to for their guidance, identity, purpose and righteousness, instead of Christ. There is no wisdom outside the Word of God and there is no other Saviour but Jesus. We must therefore see people like our Father sees them, and be not entangled in the affairs and the fears and politics of a world that is about to be destroyed and taken away for ever. For His ways and His thoughts are far above what any of them know. One is our Master and Leader, and we ALL are brethren!
