We are not told in Scripture how angels were created. But all other beings except for man were spoken into existence. So either angels were spoken into existence or formed like man, only of spiritual essence rather than from earthly elements as man was formed.
Dear "JOURNEE!" i will very gladly serve you with an answer. But do not understand correctly. Can't see it from Ecclesiastes 1 either. Can you try and word yourself a little differently please. God bless u and yours in Jesus name, love u in Christ. Luke 6:17-19
From researching history and other events, I believe that this talks about a loop, or loops. History repeats itself. Time starts off at the beginning of an age or two. The same theme plays out, and then it ends, only to begin all over again with new people.
For example, during Noah's day, Atlantis was destroyed. During this age, New Atlantis (USA) will be destroyed.
During Paul's time, the apocalypse happened. It's happening again during our time with the same sequence in Revelation.
Hello Manasseh. We welcome all comments centred around God's Word & your question is a very good one.
When we look at both those references you gave, we could see contradictions (as you see also), but then a clearer understanding of them will give us more light. In Ecclesiastes 1:17,18, the author, Solomon, states that he was committed to gaining more wisdom. As a king, this was a very noble thing to desire so that he might rule well & give correct judgements for his people. But in his quest to acquire much wisdom which included learning & understanding what causes men to live foolishly & make wrong decisions in life, he found that his spirit was getting increasingly troubled. So he says, 'in getting wisdom & knowledge comes much sorrow'. Not that there was anything wrong with having more knowledge, but by understanding it better, the sorrows & inconsistencies of life, become more apparent & troubling. So, we have this oft quoted saying, 'ignorance is bliss'. Though not really true, but what it's saying is that 'if you don't know much about life, of people, & life's intricate threads, the less you will burden your mind & heart & fewer will be your pain & sorrows'.
Then in Hosea 4:6, we read, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." If we go back to verse 1, we read this indictment by God against Israel, "there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land." The people were disregarding God, indulging in sins & forgetting His directives to them about their behaviour one towards another. So here, God's people ought to be regarding the Laws He gave them & to show love & respect to one another, but they had forsaken God & His Word to direct them. When that happens, when God's people, then & now, refuse to obey God (i.e. refusing to receive knowledge of what He wants for them), then they will suffer isolation from God. In those days, God's Hand was heavy upon them, today, we will suffer spiritual poverty & feel that God is far from us. Blessings.
If you have a red letter edition of the King James Bible,
You'll find the parables in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The red letters are Jesus speaking or telling a "parable" (story) to demonstrate faith, salvation or instruction.
You will see red letters in the Book of Acts, in some places. He spoke when Paul fell off his horse on the Road to Damascus.
Why wouldn't God call women to preach? God shows no partiality ( Romans 2:11) and can use anybody to do His will ( 1 Corinthians 1:27). Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Isaiah's wife, and Anna were given the authority to speak to the people on the behalf of God and thus preached the Word of God. Go back and read Romans 16:1-15 about the 10 women who where in ministry who held leadership positions.
1 John 4:3 "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
(According to this verse, the antichrist was already present in the 1st century when the Apostle John wrote the verse. Therefore, the antichrist is not someone who is going to appear on the world stage in the near future but that has been around since the time of the Apostle John - false teachers are the antichrist.)
1 John 2:18 "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
1 John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
2 John 1:7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
I don't believe most Christians think they are observing Sabbath on Sunday. I think very few minority would think Sunday is the Sabbath. A day of worship is not the same as the Sabbath day.
Christians likely meet on Sunday, because:
(1) The example is they met on first day of the week
(2) Christians can worship any day, and many choose Sunday.
Maybe your question is why do most Christians not celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday:
(1) Colossians 2:16, 17
(2) Jesus healed others on the Sabbath
(3) Jesus challenged the Pharisees in how they observed the Sabbath and redefined it for them: Mark 3:4, Mark 2:27
(4) Matthew 5:17-18 (fulfilled but not abolished). Many will say the 10 commandments still apply, like it's still just as wrong to kill someone, but a % may say the 4th commandment (keep Sabbath) may not still apply.
That is to help answer your first question, but I didn't understand your second one.
1. Why is it that the majority of "sola scriptura" Christians observe Sunday as sabbath while the 4th of God's Ten Commandments specifically states that the "Sabbath is the 7th Day."
(Recall that the close of the book of Revelation describes "the saved" as those who "keep the Commandments of God" and "have the faith of Jesus.")
2. It seems that the most reasonable method of prophetic interpretation is the "historical" one. It is this method that leaves NO gaps in the flow of prophetic events.
(The concocted methods of preterism and futurism leave the individual in limbo.)

Food for thought.
Solomon knew and understood in verse 13 of Chapter 12 he ends with Let us hear the conclusion of the
whole matter Fear or respect God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man. Which
Hosea 4:6 if you don't have the knowledge God or disregard it you will be eventually useless.

I will be glad to recieve more light on these scriptures as i grow in faith.
Anything else you would like to say. It will help us in responding to your post.
