Lord, please help me to not be a sluggard, even though I am ill. Help me to not expect everyone to wait on me hand and foot. Also, remind me that you love me, even though I am weak and ill, just like the song I heard even as a young child, ie "Jesus loves me "

GRADY in the beggining the scriptures said by our FATHER himself hear the word and i will teach you my wisdom .then it was changed to fear.just one letter changes its meaning check it out ok. salt water and sweet water cant come our of the same spring .the comandment spoken by MOSES was to love your maker not fear him.and love your neibor like you love your maker.because he is your bro. or sister. IF you fear him sooner or latter you will judge him for something he did in your life.every thing that happens in this life is for our own good.not only does he speek to us through is word .he also speeks to us in a solf voice inside of us.and he never lies.sure he is on the outside of us,because he is everwhere, but his voice inside of you can and will teach you things you never heard before and no outher person has ever heard before.and the scriptures will prove it to you.thats when the scriptures come alive only then can anyone know the truth.remember MAN teaches what he believes is truth.but your creator teaches what he knows is the truth.and he cant lie.he and his word was alone when he created and no one was there to tell him how to do it.love you

Indeed our God is our place of refuge. We can run to him and hide. HE IS OUR BANNER AND OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. So can use him as a HOME where we can stay peacefully and in safety. O h how I love Jesus my Lord.
  • Jonathan on John 16:24 - 11 years ago
I often if I should take this scripture literally. I feel like there is a "catch " to this verse. The catch being, even if I ask for something, there is no mention when I will receive it. It could be minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years. If I am unemployed and ask for a job, do I have years to wait for that prayer to be answered? That has happened to me. I lost everything in the process of waiting to get a job. I was applying to jobs daily.

I love you Jesus.

    AWESOME BIBLE
  • KJB on Acts 2 - 11 years ago
Why aren 't "WE " pious. Take a look at the sermons of Jesus and Paul and see that they used "YOU " instead of "WE ". Lets not offend anyone now. They thought Jesus could have been "Elias, and others, Jeremias, " Matt 16. Read Jer. Chapter 23 and compare it to Matthew 23 and see the resemblance. Having said all that, Paul had to straighten Peter out on his doctrine, see Galatians 2 verse 11 and Jesus had to get him straight several times see Matthew 16 verse 23. Having said that, Peters message to the JEWS is not for us today. By Acts 15 he had found out it was by FAITH and no works. I hope you believe that. ACTS 16 verse 31 will help.

It pays to serve God for he will never give you more than you can bear. God always rewards those who faithfully and diligently work for him. Never stop serving the Lord for that is the reason why you were born.

Through His loving kindness, i 'm safe, nothing planned in the kingdom of darkness can prevail over my life and my family bcoz the Lord is my refuge, under His wings m protected. I thank God 4 his unconditional love, endless mercy, guidance and evrything that I have through Him.

The best single day of my life was the day I was saved. More memorable than any day with friends, events, fishing trips, or nights out was the day that I began fellowship with the LORD. Knowing that GOD cares enough about me to send me a rescue party of signs and wonders is unimaginable. I will cherish and build off that night forever. Thank you Jesus! Amen.
  • Jon on Psalms 69:1 - 11 years ago
This is messianic psalm of David. It speaks of Christ pouring his soul to God the Father in the face of impendind death for the salvation of me and you. If christ the Son of God was able to pray to his Father, what makes you and me not to come boldly to the throne of grace to find mercy and grace during the times of our needs? Indeed the Father saved the Son from the sinking death and grave. Can our God stands afar from your grievous and sinking situations? Not at all. Those who has acknowledged and accepted Christ as their Savior, the Father surely will meet their needs.
