I am so grateful and thankful each day GOD blesses me to have the opportunity to praise him for so many highly favorable annointings in my life and my family life. I truly believe GOD has his hands on me.Wen I pray I always feel a since of peace, calmness, security, annointed protection, healing, love, GOD hands on me, GOD holding my hand thru anything I'm going thru, and so many other annointed feelings. My faith in GOD has kept me focused to look to him for all my needs. I learned when no one was by my side in time of need, GOD sent a message that he was there all along, all I had to do was call on him and acknowledge him for everything.Don't get me wrong we do need each other family and friends. What I learned is don't be so anxious or disappointed when people let you down, because GOD will never let you down.Keep being you in the Lord and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Even if someone hasn't supported you in the time of need support them. Because you know GOD will bless you and keep his hands on you no matter what you are going thru. Thank you Jesus. Halilujuah.

Romans 9 vs 11 was given to me in my dream after my prayers to the lord about my will to do His only will. your explanation of the scripture gave me an incling to the understanding of what the lord is saying to me. i had doubted my call but was assured through the scripture. it is not by works but my election was made before i was born. This simply means that my calling is from God for a purpose and to His glory. pls remember me always in your prayers. Thanks

Use the KJV to get the correct meaning.Help meet in Hebrew is ezer [complimentary] and neged [counterpart]. To make this work the husband has to take spiritual leadership. This entails a daily bible study/prayer time with your wife. Since this fulfills God's plan in this verse, expect great things to happen in your marriage.
  • Henrietta on James 5:16 - 12 years ago
In a marriage we shaould always be willing to confess our faults. Keeping things hidden only bind us to a life of lying and out of fellowship with God. This is not what God want for us. The old saying "confession is good for the soul" is really true. Only the Truth can set us free......

  • Robert on Isaiah 53:4 - 12 years ago
Thank you Jesus for taking my sins and shame and carrying them for me to the cross. Thank you for opening my heart to the LORD and my eyes to the Holy Spirit. Please help me find my calling, guide me through life with your light, and give me the courage to proclaim my faith from the rooftops.
Bless the LORD oh my soul, worship his holy name!

This verse of the scripture gives great hope and assurance to all born again believers that the God we serve is faithful and has unimaginable and unfathomable plans for each of us which He will certainly bring to pass. Whatever may be your situation now, be rest assured that there are better blessings ahead both in this world and in eternity. We are not serving God in vain. Ask Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,Joseph, Joshua, Caleb, Hannah,Ruth, Job, David, Zechariah, Elizabeth, Mary and contemporary believers and they will tell you. As we continue steadfastly in loving, obeying and serving God in righteousness and holiness, we will behold the great goodness of our God and people who know us will acknowledge that we are serving a covenant keeping God in Jesus' name, Amen.

My wife has 2nd stage Dementia and I had her, with her permission, to be anointed with oil by our pastor some months ago. I believe totally in what James 5:14 says....It is the word of God, a command to do so if one is sick. I have seen several healing miracles before my eyes and know it was from God. In faith believing, I know that God will heal my wife totally of Dementia because God cannot lie. Craig Cotton 12/2/13

Jesus was not being rude. He knew that his mother recognized the authority and power he had as the son of God. That was why he concluded that his time had not come. The next verse confirms this by the statement his mother made. "Whatever he saith unto you do it. She knew who her son was. In response to another comment or question. The bible is not a story book. It is the living word of God.Ask God for insight and revelation into his word and it will come alive for you.
  • Timothy Wayne George on Matthew 2:18 - 12 years ago
In Ramah, was heard weeping and much lamentation. Rachel weeping for her children. This shows the providence of God to protect the Lord Jesus Christ from Herod, who is angry that the wise men did not report to him where the Child was. So God warned Joseph in a dream, to flee with Mary and the Child to Egypt. This fulfilled scripture which said out of Egypt have I called my Son. Just as Joseph was sent to Egypt to save Israel, the Lord Jesus was called out of Egypt to save the world. Praise God for His wise counsel, and for the wise men obeying God. For when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. Wise men still seek Him today, and I pray you will too.

Every temptation last 45 seconds !!!! It is not sin to be tempted : It is sin to go with it. God has made a way of escape through His Word.

  • Ada Ngozi Anyanwu on Ecclesiastes 1:18 - 12 years ago
The entire book of Ecclesiastes was written by King Solomon as inspired by the Holy Spirit. It's no wonder that the greatest gift given by God is Wisdom. It is written that "Wisdom is the principal thing", however paradoxically, verse 18 here expresses that the attainment of Wisdom brings grief, in this context, this is just proverbial and means that mankind must be mindful of the values of life. If we refer back to the previous verses of chapter 1, Ecclesiastes is giving us a deeper understanding of who God is and what Man's role in this life id. We know that man continues to strive most times for things that are corruptible, temporary, having lesser value for the things that are eternal and guaranteed. God indpired Solomon to take heed of knowledge which is just inferior and meaningless, but hidden in this chapter there is we ought to
really seek God's intention for us and have a fulfilling life. In Genesis, God warns Adam and Eve not to eat fruit from a certain tree (the tree of knowledge - discernment of good and evil). The repercussions of too much knowledge can bring negative results if God is ignored. God is the highest authority in Wisdom and there is no end to His Superiority or Power. Man should submit to God in all things and begin to live a fulfilling life that brings eternal Joy, Peace and Love.

I will like to focus on Father YAHWEH's love for Israel as well as for us who have been taken into the Family of YAHWEH through the salvation in His Son YAHSHUA who is called Jesus. it is His love for Israel He punished them and it is with the same Love He pardoned them and deliver them. We must understand that it is because the Eternal Father loves us He has to refine us even with punishment, but He has power to forgive us and revive us and empower us to live righteous life.
  • Angel on John 2 - 12 years ago
Who is this Jesus you ask? Is this Bible a storybook? Answer: First the Bible is not a storybook but rather a living breathing book that once you have accepted Christ as your Savior the Holy Spirit resides within you (the Comforter Jesus promised to send after His resurrection and acension to heaven)and guides you and reveals the scriptures to you. It is the only book that the author is present each time you read it and reveals more and more to you as you grow in your daily life with Jesus who is the Christ. Second: Jesus is the only begotten Son of God full of grace and truth ( John 3:16-17) who came to die for us and pay the sin debt He did not owe for us who could not pay the debt of sin we owed. How marvelous to know and understand that the Holy God of heaven and earth and all there is was willing to do such a thing! Romans 3:23 gives us the state we are born into but John 3:16 and 1 John 1:9 are two of many verses that tells us how to come to Jesus to accept the free gift of salvation. Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through Him. Keep searching the scriptures and pray God to reveal the truth to you and you will see who this Jesus is and how wonderful it is to have Him in your heart and part of your life.

Verse 4; Jesus loved His mother and what is rude to us is different as how things were done in those days and the customs. He made sure on the cross that she was cared for by speaking to John and to Mary that he was her son and she his mother. In that day and age women had no status and had to have a man to do things and be accepted. He was "special"? No, He was and is God, the Son of God, which makes Him higher than man and our Creator. John 1 states in the beginning was the Word and also all things were made by Him and for Him. A holy and just God comes down to us to give us salvation would He really be rude to His own earthly Mother of whom He said was blessed above all women? I don't think so. I believe it was a term of enddearment and as another stated affirming who she was. Notice He did obey her.

...Christ means the anointing, ie, Jesus Christ is the anointed one.It did not say (...who strengthens as a person) but (...which strengthens, thus it is the anointing that strengthens, that enables us that empowers us to do all things) just as it enabled Jesus to do every thing. There is no limitation to the anointing.
  • Kristopher on Luke 15 - 12 years ago
This is no doubt an ausome portion of scripture concerning frogivness when we are willing to acknowledge our sin, turn from it and return home to our heavenly father....however the story is oftentimes misinterpreted that the Lord is mercifull to us when we continue in sin and turn his grace into disgrace. Titus ch 2 tells us that grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust and to live soberly and RICHEOUSLY in this present world.....not to continue in ungodlieness and use this portion of scripture as an escape goat & that our father is always there for us when we decide to return! 2 Thessalonions ch 2 tells us that GOD HIMSELF will send us a strong delution and we will believe a lie and be dammed...all because we loved not the truth....part of truth is.....real, true, sincere repentence of your sins and turning away from your old lifestyle being babtised in Jesus name & recieving the babtism of the holy ghost as thy did in the book of acts! Never should we take advantage of Gods grace and mercy and treat it as a light thing!

We are all sinners, (Rm3:23) And because of sin we will die. (Rm.6:23) (Heb.9:27) Regardless of what choices we make in this life we will die. That is, physically. However. Christ has promised us new life through His blood if we'll but repent and believe on Him and accept His sacrifice for our sins. (Rm.5:8) Rather than give up and give in to the circumstances around us (whatever they may be) We have a choice we can choose life eternal and die to ourselves and put ourselves in the hands of the One who died for us.
