One of the most inspiring verses in the New Testament that directly relates to us over 2000 years later. Those that receive this and know it, are truly blessed. Spread the love folks. Let everyone know the true meaning of salvation.
First of all. I will like to say a big thank you to everyone who took their time to set up this Bible reading , which I enjoyed every day. Besides, that I am indeed of a new Bible ,please, thank you.
"Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matt 11:28-29 Our Lord Jesus Christ uttered these words to all, those who are miserable, sorrowful and damaged by their sinful way of life, those want help with living with our affliction, lustful gratifications, sinful prideful desires, those who have no hope for what is to come, those with a concern for the truth, those who are humble in heart, those who want to believe and want to receive the good news, Jesus Christ will give you rest.
All your toil and labour as you will to yield to the Lord will not be in vain, for your reward is everlasting, eternal and never ending. As the Lord prepares a home for you, prepare your self for his return, let him upon his return find you, doing his will, the duty and responsibility entrusted to you, dont be such a servant that neglects his responsibility when the master is not there. But be ever doing that which is faithful and true to who He is. Strive like no man can, for you have not contended or fought to the point of death, have you?
Charity; Agape, Love; Christ fulfils all things, he is love, Gods love, which gives freely and willingly, since it never fails, look into that, stir up your self to start giving, knowing that your Father in heaven, will never let those who are his, lack of anything they need. Know that all that you have, is what God has given, based on his complete understanding and wisdom, of who you are and mankind as a whole, what he does is always good, always true, always faithful and right.
Believe and trust in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and all is well.
Remember we look not upon the things of this world but on heavenly spiritual things, do not let the senses, which cause you, to rely upon yourself , but instead lean, call and rely upon the word, which never fails, and is always true.
Listen to God and not self, because we have nothing to offer, Jesus Christ is the only way.
Ruby , I've just discovered the ' Amen ' page of this site , be encouraged ! A lot of your posts are on there ! It would seem that there is a large silent majority and a small but very loud minority . It looks like there are a lot of people out there who do understand what you are saying and because they understand they are not offended . Good news !
I just want to thank God for the Word - I find so many verses comforting. Although my understanding is sloight, my faith is strong and these words comfort me through the rough parts of life. By reading I feel God with me when I'm alone.
I love listening to the reading of the bible. I learn from it. And I learn how to pronounce some of the hard words and learn about God and I enjoy listening.
We all have hope in Jesus Christ. I myself love the Lord, with all of my heart. I share with everyone that I can about the love, compassion, hope, and mercy that Jesus gives us every day. I'm a newly Christian so I'm learning how to share the gospel.
