It is not always pleasurable to do the will of God But it is profitable to do the will of God : And having done all to Stand : Stand. Praise God : God is Faithful : If God puts a thing on my heart to do then I am to do it and not stop till it is done : even if it is until I die or my Lord Jesus returns for His Church !!!! Keep on Keeping on !!!! God will back you me all the way when it lines up with His word !!!

I 'm quick to tell people all the time about God 's word, and how you must hold on during the tests that try your faith in God, but now I find myself getting in the middle of my storm and those words of encouragement I 've spoken to others, I now am speaking them to myself but to everyone in Christ I pray for you to keep God Almighty first in every thing that you do have faith to believe what you can 't see and maintain being a true warrior for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ...

Psalms 23 got me through one of the darkest days of my life. November 13, 1990 when my wife gave birth to our last child, a son, the doctor butchered her then tried to cover it up. For the six hours that many doctor 's worked hard to save her life, I sat in a special room with my oldest son Robb and daughter Carrie who was just barely 2. I read and re-read Psalms 23 several times. It was very cold in the small room and I had a short sleeve shirt. As I read and re-read that passage I felt warmth and peace wash over me. She 's alive today but not without many complications. I 've taken care of her for 23 years and though it 's been hard to take care of her and raise three children, I wouldn 't have it any other way. Praise be to God.

A short little chapter relates the ugly truth of the corruption of many who live after the flesh. We know that the mortal flesh will be destroyed, dust to dust, and that the soul also is mortal, and salvation if conditional. For we are judged in the hereafter by a righteous judge, who has forewarned us whom we shall fear in this world. Not him who can kill the body only, but him who has the power to cast into hell.

These versus are talking to us Christians in the church community to treat each other with love and respect the spiritual gifts that can only come from God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. When we love one another then and only then will the world know we are His disciples. It is one thing to receive from the church of God but real members contribute their gifts and love to the body of Christ. This is the living sacrifice we are commended by not to live as the world lives selfish profit and sucess. Amen

We don 't need to worry or fear when facing the attacks from the devil. God sees all and his sheep knows his voice. I believe that we who believe also believe that he knows our voices also, and when we call he will answer.

  • Kevin on Psalms 91 - 11 years ago
Psalms 91 is part of my daily life now. I live with pancreatic cancer. I was given 6 months to live about 1 year ago. While being treated, chemo radiation, I was taken ill with food poisoning. While in the hospital a mis-diagnosis happened and I was treated with insulin and pain medicine. I was overdosed and almost passed. Shortly after that my port created a blood clot which also almost killed me with only minutes left to be treated. After that I accidentally tripped over my beautiful Doberman. I fractured my elbow, had to get stitched, and missed hitting my head by inches. This all while under going treatment for cancer. After hearing my story who in their right mind would refuse to believe in the power of God and Psalms 91. He always has a plan. His plan is always a perfect plan. Me personally, I don 't believe his plan is for me to move in with him at this time. I want to help someone, somewhere, how ever I can before I leave this place. Through daily affirmations and with the reading of Psalms 91 a skeptic has been shown the truth. Pass it on!

Verse 1 says that the heaven declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handy work, basically it is saying that whatever God has created he glories in it and we must acknowledge that God has created us for his glory so whatever we do God should get his glory in it ,lets not forget that God has created us in his image and likeness and crowns us with glory and honour,.

Parents are the foundation and the example of their children. We must bring and offer our children to Jesus. Involve your child in the church and let them listen the words, when they grow up the words from God will not depart from them. An Anges are always with them. Offer your child and yourself to Jesus as a living sacrifice. Our child when they grow up they can serve God by giving back their talent in worship and praising God. Jesus loves us and he created us according to his purpose. Jesus is the only reason why we are still living. Thanks to Jesus for his precious blood that shed for us. Amen
  • Dr. Cherrye G. Watts on Psalms 46:1 - 11 years ago
Psalms 46 is a tremendous Psalm! Given that it says exactly what it truely means to me doing this trouble time of my life! I realize without HIM I can do nothing! This test that I am in doesn 't feel good, however, I know God is right here with me while I am still in the test. Given that I still have peace in the midst of my storm... Please pray that I continue to live true to my Lord Jesus... and hold fast to my testamony in His name.

  • Betty Harrison Holmes on Galatians 5:10 - 11 years ago
I thank God because this verse is encouraging me to know that "WHOSOEVER IS TROUBLING MY SPIRIT " WILL BARE HIS JUDGEMENT. MEANING GOD IS GOING TO STOP THE PERSON THAT HAS BEEN TROUBLING MY SPIRIT. THE SPIRIT OFWITCHCRAFT. WILL BE NO MORE AND THE PERSONS THAT HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE GOD IS GOING TO CUT THEM OFF. TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM. WE CANNOT MESS WITH GOD 'S ANOINTED ONES. JESUS SAID THAT HIMSELF.
  • Tsitsi Doris Chipendo on Proverbs 3:8 - 11 years ago
So powerful, healing is in the word of God. I speak the word of God over my health and have seen tremendous changes. Surely, the word works. It is medicine to my body. If you just see what is is happening in this world, people are suffering from sickness and what they do is they affect bones and can not move, but when you meditate on this verse, it says, the Word is marrow to your bones. Marrow is the soft stuff inside the bones and is useful for the production of red blood cells. The Word of God is likened to that marrow, revitalising your mortal body. I love the Word of God. Acts 20:32 says the Word is able to build you up. It can be in your health, finances, family, marriage, whatever. The Word of God really works.

Thank God for His mercy and grace toward us. I once was lost but now am found.
  • Evansco Digreat on Psalms 83 - 11 years ago
I really like the verse 18 which tells us the very true name of the Most High God, as recorded ' ' whose name alone is JEHOVAH ' ' Meaning God the Creator has got a Unique Name which is above every name. Unfortunately, most current translations have sidelined His JEHOVAH name and simply writing God leaving us to wonder worshiping such a nameless God. KJV is the best and still keeping the faith which is why l cannot stop using KJV and i love it
