“If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:”
King James Version (KJV)
3:2 The dispensation of the grace of God given me in your behalf - That is, the commission to dispense the gracious gospel; to you gentiles in particular. This they had heard from his own mouth.
Eph 3:2 If ye have heard. This is not designed to express doubt, but to remind them that they had heard of the dispensation, or office, that had been given him in reference to the Gentiles. See Ac 22:21.
