Ephesians 1:17-20, these 3 positions offer us the spirit of wisdom, revelation, knowledge and understanding if we know our positions in Christ. The hope of our calling is heirs. We are justified in this position as sons and have heavenly birthrights, thus the "ring" of the prodigal son. "Our inheritance" is our adoption as the "eldest son" under the Abrahamic covenant. In this position we are "sanctified" and have earthly birthrights, the "shoes" of the prodigal son. Seated in Christ. The third position is the position of "knowledge for" healing. We are royal priests in the body of Christ; this is our position of "our power". Putting on Christ in his full stature (power, Acts 2), we are a sweet savour of Christ; and he cannot deny himself...we have "priestly" birthrights", 2 Peter 2:9. This is the "robe" of the prodigal and we come before the father as a church; head and body of Christ with "all power and all authority of Christ. Standing in his image (holy spirit) pure, clean and holy without spot or blemish. So call the elders (pastor and men) and have people healed, a church that is a spiritual Christ, before the father.

Ephesians 1 is an interesting study! Studying with Shepherd's Chapel, with Pastors Arnold and Dennis Murray makes the entire bible easy to understand.

Ephesians 1 just confirms in my heart and soul that my Lord and Savior is in total control. This chapter tells me that had he not have chosen me I would never have chosen him. Predestination and election are very difficult concepts for our finite minds to comprehend, nevertheless they are the word of God and I thank and praise him for it. Thank you LORD for saving me!

I am free of sin and shame, by the blood of Jesus Christ, and by the will of God I am free. Thank you God our father, for Jesus our saviour.

We are enlightened by the truth that there is a vast difference between 'of Jesus Christ' and 'IN CHRIST' Because the first is the Person Jesus and the second is a PLACE and The Anointing.

GOD is good all the time. Also you have to choose to walk with and for God because he has great things in store for us. God is looking for people that will be real and serve him wholeheartedly.

This is my favorite chapter in the bible.

Ephesians chapter 1:7 makes us know that we have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for saving me and forgiving me of my sins according to the riches of your grace. Where will I be if not by your grace.

It means that Christ became the sacrificial lamb through which we are free from the slavery of sins and death.

In him we have redemption. Is talking of our position increase. We were already in Christ before our redemption came.

It is the blood of Jesus Christ that He shed to wash away all the filthiness and shame of this present world. It is only by His shed blood that the price of our atonement, the redemption could be paid.

God’s blessings to all who are in Christ Jesus our only door to true salvation , Ephesians plus the book of Acts chapter 2,add Romans chapter 8 give us all a clear look at our path to walk on, Jesus is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the light, God bless all who hunger and thirst for Jesus Christ.

God made us for a reason which is to show his love.

It is here in Ephesians you get to know who you are in christ and what you have and what you can get. It's awesome.

If it wasnt of God's love by sending the beloved son to die on a cross where will we be today God is LOVE

I love the book of Ephesians chapter 1.It is a very precious Book of the BIBLE. I just love the GIFT OF GOD,JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.Without JESUS CHRIST THERE WOULD BE NO HOPE AND HELP FOR NONE OF US.

Verses 9, 10, and 11 should be written on your heart. With understanding comes a new purpose on how to live your life for GOD and his purpose for you.

God is good all the time

Flesh and blood can not understand what is given of the Spirit. Pray for this understanding. GOD bless you all.

Praise God that we have been blessed with all spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus in heavenly places. We were predestined before the foundation of the world that we should be holy, and blameless in love. We have received the forgiveness of our sins through the blood of Jesus. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise when we believe the word of truth. All of this is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and not of works less any man should boast. Jesus Christ in the dispensation of time will bring together in one that which is in heaven and on earth. Therefore we have an eternal inheritance that will never fade away. Peter said we have not been redeemed with corruptible things such as silver and gold, but of the precious blood of Jesus. Now we are accepted in the beloved because of what Jesus has done for us.

This is awesome to view! It is imperative to keep these true words of God written in our hearts. This is a magnificent gift of God! My favorite part of the book of Ephesians is ch.6, vs.10 to the end of the chapter.....this is God's direction as to what we need to do.....to practice it at all times.....and when we don't , we let our guard down...I pray for the grace to cling ever more tightly to my savior, Jesus Christ, and search the scriptures more diligently,that I will obey. Obedience is the key.

Ephesians is a good book to better understanding
what the Lord has done and what we do for Him
it contains the Armor of God that is important
because it explains that our weapons are not
carnal but Spiritual. It tells us that He has
chosen our place in the Body his Church and
that our faith is the gift of God which also
brings into perspective the things he has done
for us all the weapons to put these fiery darts.
out of the way so we can serve the Lord better.

I think it explaines its power and who has it very well. The moonies says Jesus is not in heaven because he didnt make it heaven on the count that had no children. God is in need of another savior.Jesus is not in heaven he's in paradise,alone with the other disciples.Oh and if Rev. If Moon doesnt bless you and your family Moon and his third wife will not permit you in heaven.Jesus is not in heaven because he doesn't have children.God made a mistake by sending Jesus and to fix his mistake he sent Rev. Moon and mother Moon.Now that is a cup of soup.

The Authorized King James 1611 bible is the ONLY WORD of God, for he spoke once and there is no other God, but the Lord God Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - the Lord God of Israel. Only the KJV leads to Christ Jesus, the only begotton Son of God. All the other bibles are false and lead to Satan.

What a wonderful benefit it is to have the best commentary every penned linked to the near perfect prose of the King James Version of the Bible. To be able to access this on my screen each morning is great blessing. Thanks.

This text is grossly underestimated and sidestepped!
Seems that those in supposed rule of theological dogma like to short-change the power that The Lord has given the Church and each individual believer. They preach the gospel without the power thereof...the spirit of the pharisees is alive and in business even today.

THROUGH THIS CHAPTER MY GOD HELPED ME TO KNOW THAT HOW GREAT AUTHORITY HE HAD GIVEN TO ME AND NOW I KNOW THAT "YES I BELIEVE IN HIS MIGHTY NAME AND I ALSO HAS THE POWER ON THIS WORLD"
