In whom ye also are builded together for an Habitation of GOD through the Spirit, AMEN!

Mocking Bird ... Be ever so careful with you Lordship Salvation Doctrine because it would mean that in order for a person to be saved that they would have to surrender every aspect of their life before they can be saved... This is putting the cart before the horse ... Many new converts have not yet surrendered parts of their lives to Christ but if they have trusted him and him alone for salvation then they are saved ! I will also venture to say that their is something in your life that is not fully surrendered ! The Lord did not say Surrender to me and you will be saved...He said He that BELIEVES on me shall be saved ! I believe in a surrendered life to Christ as our grattitude for the price that he has paid for my redemtion but I was saved by what he did and not what I do !

We are saved by the Grace of GOD, the only thing a human can do, to see GOD, is to repent, believe in his only begotten Son, that he died for us and was resurrected by GOD, and now sits at the right hand of His Father. Praying to mary or the rosary won 't help, this is a false system of belief, this church is the same church responsible for close to ONE HUNDRED MILLION MURDERS, of people during the dark ages mostly because they wouldn 't give up GOD 's true SABBATH, This world has been truly blinded, but GOD 's word is true to the end, REV. says the Whole World has been deceived. Don 't take my word research it yourself if you have the courage, all I can tell you is it might have eternal implications, if you don 't!

Michelle, grace never runs out. Jesus died for all our sins from birth to death. After we become a Christian we have the Word and the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. Do a word study with the word grace. Look it up in the Bible. When I was a new Christian I was told every time I sinned, my name was erased from the Book of Life. Then put back in after I prayed for forgiveness. That is wrong. When we sin, we need to ask for forgiveness. Christ 's blood washes away our sins. Christ wants us to keep our eyes on Him. When we stumble and ask for forgiveness, we are forgiven. God us us to keep our eyes on Him. Fall down, keep getting back up. Work out your salvation with fear but yet rest in Christ at the same time. Grace doesn 't run out. We do, if we allow it. But we want to spend eternity with Christ, so we keep walking towards Him. We are loved and cherished by the Father. He can 't abide sin but forgives us when we repent, pray for more grace. He gives us strength but knows we are but weak.

What comes after the disposition of Grace...not meaning the disposition of Kingdom which is written in the King James Version...just explain what truely happens when Grace runs out.
  • RG on Ephesians 2 - 10 years ago
Jesus already died for Our sins. The sins we continue to make over and over he does not pay for. This us why we repent and turn from the wicked ways. If we continue to yield to our flesh, we face consequences.

not of work should anyman boast this could be in two phases 1,It 's God 's will for man not to boast of whatsoever thing he is or achieve, for their is wages for it God 's will of command .2,we are not responsible for what we have, even the salvation of our soul.So the glory thereof does not belong to us.10k u

salvation through Jesus is God 's gift to man ' it is free to all who believe and accept Him and the sacrifice he gave. the more important part is what you do with this great gift. leave it giftwrapped and bury it will cost you your reward in heaven . use it on earth and the covenanted blessing of God will be upon you . praise god for His unspeakable gift.
  • Wasada mooka on Ephesians 2:8 - 10 years ago

Thank You Father God for Your Son Jesus Christ for dieing for me.
  • Timothy on Ephesians 2 - 10 years ago
This Chapter 2, revealed the procession to salvation, one is FAITH and other is GRACE, Christ gave both, but man must exercise faith even after being saved. Faith and Grace are both established and continuous substance as catalyst in Christian race for fulfillment of God 's purpose for man 's existence on earth.
  • MockingBird on Ephesians 2:8 - 10 years ago

  • Cheryl. C. on Ephesians 2:8 - 11 years ago
Truly the Grace of God is amazing to save a wretch like me. Sin had such a hold on me at one time. I Thank God He loved me while I was yet a sinner.I can say it was surely not by works but His Grace. Still yet today and forever if & when I sin it is of Grace that I am set free from bondage : nothing I think that I can do will merit me salvation through Jesus Christ. He & He alone does the Work: all I have to do is Believe. Praise The Lord !!!!

what i can say the church of ehesians is only a mirror for today's believers that do't lose our Love toward chrirt.amen!!!
  • Anthony on Ephesians 2:21 - 11 years ago
Most of the above translations refer to separate buildings framed or joined together. This is a reference to both the Kingdom Church with Israel in view and the Body of Christ, which is the church of today, consisting of both saved Jews and Gentiles. Both structures are based on the Lord and grows into becoming the habitation of God throughout all eternity. Amen

This is my response to Ciscokid on Eph 2:9. That salvation is by Grace through faith alone is clear according to this verse, that no man may boast one day in heaven that it is through their meritorious works (see also Eph 2v5). The things mentioned such as prayer, fasting etc. will not save one from the righteous judgment of God. It is the Blood of Christ alone and faith in that blood that saves man. Believe and be saved. That's all God asks of us, nothing more
  • Anthony on Ephesians 2:15 - 11 years ago
Paul is the Apostle to the Gentiles. To him was given the message for this dispensation, which is the dispensation of the Grace of God, with its one body, being the Church, the Body of Christ. This is the one new man that is spoken of in this passage. Galations makes it further clear that the Law of Commandments was indeed abolished as Salvation is by Grace through Faith and that not of Works (of the Law) ( Eph 2 v 8-9). We should rightly divide the Word of Truth if we are to properly understand even straight forward passages such as this ( 2 Tim 2 v 15)

In the time pased God loves for us is unconditoinal love, he knew each an every one our sins but yet he still love us, for by his grace he saved us from our sin...
  • Rosina franklin on Ephesians 2 - 11 years ago
in time past we were dead in sin like others . the riches of the grace has made us what we are today so let us use the opportunity given to us to serve him with fear and trembling and show mercy and love to others who have not yet known the true
  • Anthony on Ephesians 2:4 - 11 years ago
This GREAT love of God is towards all humanity (mankind)and not only to believers. If you have not yet trusted the Lord Jesus Christ to save you, know that God loves you and Christ died for your sins. Believe and be saved.
  • Rulyn Galapia on Ephesians 2:8 - 11 years ago
Truly we are only saved by grace...through faith in God and no other way. We are really truly blessed to received Christ as our Lord and personal saviour.
  • Ciscokid on Ephesians 2 - 11 years ago
Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:9
Because of Ephesians 2:9 some believers have the outrageous idea that works will not save. So I say to them Ephesians 2:9 is only saying that the SELF RIGHTEOUS works of man will not save him. Ephesians is only speaking of MANS self righteousness works--not the works of GOD--which we MUST obey to be saved. e.g. repentance ,praying, fasting, doing the WORKS of God. This scripture has been butchered--in order to rid man of his obligations to OBEY Gods word.
Yes works do SAVE--BUT it's the works of God --which save.-

(This is my response to John Juai's comment dated 8/13/2013 at 10:38pm on Ephesians Chapter 2 about verse 6):

On the day of judgement which is the time of the dead when they should be judged, GOD shall give reward unto King David being one of HIS servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear God's name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth ( Revelation 11:18).
