Don't let your angry over come you

    It's okay to be angry

    What is angry?

Don't let angry grow just let it go

How do you let it go

We must forgive and love one another

God is with us at all times

    Seek opportunity to show love

Speak to the sprite not the person

Jesus is the answer, as Christian we must show love at all times

Can we love like Christ? Can you do the same?

George. My thoughts on this are I 'm thankful that by God's grace(divine

Favor God to man) that when he saw fit sent messengers I.E. Angels to stand

And fight or teach or minister people who were endeavoring to believe to bring

His will to pass. Also since spirit beings don't procreate what's the point of

Female angels or better yet what difference would it make, another point just

Because there never mentioned in scripture doesn't mean they don't exist.
  • GiGi - In Reply on Ephesians 4 - 2 years ago
    Hi Delilah,

I, too, believe that the angels were created before the creation of the physical universe. I think that God created the spiritual "universe" first. It says in the Word that the sons of god (angels) rejoiced with God when He created the earth, singing with joy. (can't find the Scripture right now). The rebellion and fall of Satan and the other angels happened after the physical universe was created, I believe, but before creatures and humans were created

Jesus said that the angels do not marry in heaven. So, in that realm, which is wholly spiritual, there is no marriage nor procreation. Angels are God's messengers, protectors of humans, warring against evil angels and forces, and praisers of God. They do not accept any worship for themselves, nor do anything other than what God's will is for them to do.

    Helo George

Angels do not have a sex, male or female. But in both Hebrew (malak) and Greek (angelos) those nouns are of masculine gender. So this is probably the reason they are presented as males in the Bible.. In both Hbr and Grk this word means messenger.
  • Delilah - In Reply on Ephesians 4 - 2 years ago
Personally , I believe that the angels were created by God before He created Adam and Eve . Adam was made in the image of God , I believe God is masculine and doesn't have a feminine counterpart . God created Eve to be a complimentary partner for Adam . God and His angels don't need a partner . Women were created as partners for men . It doesn't bother me what gender angels are , in Christ we are one , there is no male or female . Angels do not biologically procreate . Also , we can be angels to each other , as men or women , God can use us to deliver His message or give practical help to others whichever gender we are . I'm a single woman so no human male has any direct power over me , my pops is dead . God and Jesus are my bosses and I'm very glad they are . Most of the time in this world I would definately identify myself as a feminist , however God is my life , my breath , my peace , my strength and my comfort . Without His love and mercy I'm done for . Christ is my sinless redeemer . I'm very happy to say that they are in charge of me and I'm also happy to be unmarried in this world .
  • GEORGE KING on Ephesians 4 - 2 years ago
We have heard and read of the names of so many male angels.

Has there ever been a female angel? If no, why not?

the gift of tounges is different than just speaking in tounges when I receive the baptism of the holy spirit I had no clue to what was really going on with me, all I know was that I was speaking in tounges as the spirit of the Lord gave the utterance and no one explains to me what was going on with me all I knew was I was filed with the spirit of Christ, and I've been different ever since then, I do speak in divers of tounges in prayer during prayer time at church, God will speak after I speak in tounges if I ask for Him to speak if He would like to, I do this to make sure I'm not in my flesh, because no good things dwell in us other than the spirit of Christ who the Author and the finisher of our faith, all of this is by faith, because by faith we are saved it not by any works, that we should boast., Jesus He is the same yesterday, and today, and forever more, why would He Give His holy spirit to them in the days of old. God is not ignorant about anything He want leave us ignorant He knows in the end time.

Satan was going to explain away sound doctrine, and He knows we must be empowered with the power of the holy spirit, if you have any doubt about speaking in tounges again just ask our heavenly father to baptize you with His spirit and with the evidence of speaking in tounges to see if it still exist for this day and age.

Dear Donya: The passage in Ephesians 4 is one passage; 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12:6 are others. Laying on of hands is indicated in 1 and 2 Timothy as well.

When we see the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22 we find something which should characterize believers in our new nature. To grow to maturity; we need to have this going on along with the supernatural manifestations with our character development as well. The fact that the greatest of all things is love sort of sums everything up. Also; the fact that edification of the Body is a primary purpose for gifts ( Eph 4:11-12); as well as putting the fear of God in people ( 2 Cor. 14:22) doesn't eliminate the fact that it is better to have a clear message; as well as the fact that all our works are meaningless; even martyrdom without love. Tongues are one of those tricky issues; I am not a cessationist myself; but also realize that almonst nowhere I've been has there been interpretations of tongues; and certainly not consistently. Such a gift I believe in prayer is for self-edification; and in corporate worship for the sake of others in the Body. Discernment is surely underrated and sorely needed today; but many who are immature or tares ignore the sober warnings of those who can perceive intrusions of the enemy in the midst of the assembly. Building up one another in our society of "rugged individualism" doesn't seem to have much importance; hence we have a prosperity gospel which is shallow in doctrine; and manifestations which often are clearly demonic with rolling on the floor; and other uncontrolled behaviours. Keeping in mind John 16:8 as to the affects of a TRUE influx of the Spirit of God is a sobering reminder we need to heed to. As to Prophetic words; a warning of a famine or death such as in Paul's case isn't exactly a "politically correct" utterance; nonetheless true Prophets aren't out to tickle men's ears. And the giver of the gifts must always take prescidence over the gifts.

this may be a couple of the chapters you're thinking of, there are more throughout the NT

1 Corinthians 12:1-31 "Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant."

1 Corinthians 14:1-40 "Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy."

We want to be careful of what we say and we want to make sure that our words are upbuilding to others. This means that we have to think before we speak.

Not a theologian, but in the new year 29-32 was just what I needed to set the tone for a global hope for a brighter future. There are no interpretations wanted, just clearly it speaks volumes. With this being an ancient text it is what's so compelling, that to apply these scriptures daily is each Human's opportunity to do a Great contribution to adhereing to the, Words, and successfully adding a declaration to leave the next generation Hope, for them to look back in 1000 years at us as their Ancestors and marvel at how these scriptures can still be applied, and implemented to carry out their obligation to leave the world better than they found it.
  • ROGER on Ephesians 4:30 - 3 years ago
Please church let us not argue the point of salvation and gifts. It is not our job to point out each others faults in Christ but to point out our faults with out Christ and point the lost to Him who sits on the thrown who forgives all sin. If you believe there is nothing more after salvation and thats all you want to maintain then thats between you and God. But I believe there is more to salvation and the walk with the spirit than some understand. The closer you get to God and the more you learn and the deeper of a relationship you have the more the spirit of God teaches you and the more you can walk and talk in the spirit. That which is born of the flesh is flesh but that which is borne of the spirit is spirit. We are all baptized by one spirit in to the body of Christ but how close you walk with that spirit is up to you. I challenge you to seek out more of the spirit and listen to what He says. Just ask Him if there is more than what is apparent to the eye. For it is not by sight nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord.

Yes surely missionaries are apostles, but I am referring to the office of an apostle not the definition of apostle.

5 Fold to start the church read your scriptures.

3 fold now the office of prophets and apostles is found today in THE WORD OF GOD.

The WORD is the foundation or should be the foundation for any true church

If you feel you need to here from some modern day prophet or apostle you are mistaken.

Heaven and earth will pass away but my WORD will live forever

Eph 2:20 Apostles and Prophets are foundation

    Foundation is put down once

CHRIST is the HOLY SPIRIT if you read Colossians Chap 1 "Christ in You!"

And HE is the Chief Cornerstone

This is the era for evangelists , pastors and teachers

The Unity of the FAITH is the WORD of GOD

We now have a complete bible not letters here and there

This is what leads to not being TOSSED by every wind of DOCTRINE

    The BIBLE is the STANDARD

Perhaps you should stop reading so many other books and just stick to scripture

Perhaps you will than be able to RIGHTLY divide the WORD of TRUTH

No other documents are needed just the bible

Line upon line precept upon precept

If you rely on some other person to lead you to the truth you are greatly mistaken

What does FOUNDATION mean to you?

I am not talking about missionaries.

I am talking about the men GOD CHOSE, CALLED and gave power to.

To not only do signs and wonders but who wrote the very words of the New Testament

These were special messengers with a divine calling.

A season for everything under the sun.

Do you think Until we all come to the Unity of the faith means for eternity?

Because if you have not checked there are over 4000 different faiths, so when are we expected to have unity?

The word of God brings UNITY to all who discover the hidden truths

God will have Mercy on whom he will have Mercy

and God will harden whomsoever he hardens

Bible says put your trust in No Man
  • It39s 5-Fold Ministry NOT 3-fold Ministry - In Reply on Ephesians 4:11 - 3 years ago
You are not representing what is written in 1 Corinthians 12. Through Paul, the Body of Christ on this present day earth is explained. These gifts are given by the Holy Spirit; as He wills. Not as people will.

The gifts and callings are without repentance. As we stay plugged into Jesus, by way of the Holy Spirit: the gifts operate; as He wills it. He anoints the person with the gift.

If we don't know anything about these gifts, it's not going to make much sense to the natural mind. The natural mind of man/woman is at enmity with God.

There's a really good book you can pick up: "The Spiritual Man", by Watchman Nee. It will enlighten you just how useless a gift is when it's guided by a mind of carnality.

I do not mean to offend anyone at all. I found that very WEIGHTY book quite offensive! I stuck with it and knew that the rest of my life would be a battle between spiritual, or carnal (flesh; meat).

The soul is like a willful child that follows whatever is dragging it along.

The thought that we could fully give ourselves to take on the character of the Spiritual man/woman is a lifelong quest to follow the Holy Spirit. Whatever he says, do it. He will prepare us and anoint us for each task.

You need to accept that there are modern day, apostles. They are called MISSIONARIES. They go to where God leads them. The local church sends, equips, supports financially, intercedes for. They go where others are terrified to go. They could be killed for their work.

God still has Prophets. God speaks, they listen. The ones that God uses today aren't on stage: they are intercessors who give birth to Thus Saith The Lord. Ezekial 37:5. It's full time ministry. Stand in the gap; Build up a Hedge of prayer and protection. Fight off attacks from satan Eph 6. Sit in the Watchtowers. They don't have time or desire for worldly pleasures. War Room people.

We should all give our gifts to God for His use.

The Criteria for being an apostle was to have seen the resurrected Christ ( Acts 1:22)

Apostles and Prophets are the foundation of the church and Christ the Chief Cornerstone

    ( Eph. 2:20)

There are no more Apostles and Prophets they are the foundation.

The foundation of the church is The Word of God.

Old testament Prophets wrote most of the Old Testament, the Apostles wrote most of the New Testament, except Jude a servant, Hebrews writer unknown.

Apostles and Prophets were chosen by God for a special purpose, the Apostles were given power and authority to do the will of God.

Any one claiming to be either a prophet or an apostle in this dispensation of the church would have to be considered FALSE.

This is what brings "UNITY of the Faith"

This is what keeps you from being tossed about by every wind of doctrine.

    Evangelists, pastors and teachers.

Lastly if Apostles and Prophets were relevant in this era, Paul would have told Timothy to ordain them instead of elders. But Paul knew Ecc 3:1 "There is a season for everything under the sun" and he knew the season for apostles ended with him 1Cor 15

If The Holy Spirit is grieved , does he leave and abide in a Christian no more, seeing that God saws He will never leave us nor forsake us and Jesus saws He will be with us always?

King David said , do not take your holy spirit from me , and that was before Christ.

So does the Holy Spirit leave?
  • Micah - In Reply on Ephesians 4:29 - 3 years ago
God does speak to his people today. Some Bible scriptures can only be understood by revelation. It is not good to make assumptions about the Bible unless it is written. In a lot of denominations people believe things in the scriptures have passed away and that is because people come up with these ideas that have no bible foundation. The scriptures cannot be understood fully by simply reading. I always pray for understanding and revelation before reading God's word and I do receive as requested.

    Luke 24:45

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

    Mark 4:11

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

    1 Corinthians 2:14

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" Heb 1:1-2

God spoke directly to Adam, Cain, probably Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Hagar, Jacob, Moses, Balaam, Joshua and there are more. I happen to believe that most appearances of The Angel (messenger) of The Lord is The Pre-Incarnate Christ. Paul heard from God on the road to Damascus and maybe in his 3 years in Arabia.

God can do whatever He chooses to do. As a rule in this age, God has spoken. I do nit believe that there will be any new revelation. The canon is complete.

How do you know for sure that the Holy Spirit is inside of you? Is it that feeling before you say something that tells you that is not to be said, or don't do that, or wait not yet?

    Ephesians 4:31-32

v31 speaks of many feelings associated with unforgiveness; when a person harbors such feelings and ways and does not forgive, he sets himself up for judgment.

v32 speaks that we must forgive all who have hurt or offended us - just as Christ has forgiven all our sins past, who've accepted Him as our Savior. Be loving and tenderhearted as Christ has been with us. God wants us to forgive others as soon as possible with His help. Do not let any root of bitterness take a stronghold on your heart.

Hope this helps. Keep studying His Word and be richly blessed!!!
