Verse 10 shows that there are things that are acceptable and things that are unacceptable to Jehovah God. We have to read the Bible and ask for discernment to help us recognize and stay away from the things that are unacceptable to him.

I love Ephesians 5 because it tells us how to live as children of God. He tells us to walk in love, the same kind of love Jesus walked in. Jesus loved others as he loved himself. He tells us things we are not to do such as sex outside of the confines of marriage, which is fornication. Uncleanness is an evil dirty person who is morally impure; a filthy person is one who has an evil nature of sin,

Verse 26~God's Word is likened to water and it has cleansing properties. Just like we would use water to wash up everyday we should use the figurative water of God's Word to cleanse our minds and hearts everyday.

The term Melchizedek is Righteousness. True representation of Christ meeting us where we are. No matter what we have done accepts our offering as did from Abram ten percent. As Melchizedek is not condemning Abram neither is Christ condemning us. We are blessed instead. Thank you Jesus our high priest forever.

Verse 22,23~The headship arrangement was put in place by Jehovah God and not by any man.

I believe your question is sincere! The world were framed by the words of God. What we say can have a constructive or destructive results. There is nothing wrong in writing, you just have to make sure your narrative reflect a positive result. Always let God lead you in everything you do. Regarding Epesians 5:4

It is written: Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

I'm concerned. I'm unemployed and trying to make money selling a full-length animated comedy screenplay.

My question is, would I be in contrary to God's will or word writing a comedy? (the phrase nor jesting appears in verse 5:4) Please help.

Verse 4: This shows that God will judge us based on what comes out of our mouths. What we say has an impact on the way that God views us.

"This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church." Jesus taught the contentious Jews ( John 8) that being Abraham's seed didn't make them Children; but those walking after the same Spirit that Abraham walked those are the true Children. So with respect to being Children of God by faith in Jesus Christ our Lord it is known what kind we are by the kind of behavior and character.

Verse 26: God's Word cleanses us both morally and spiritually. We should make Bible reading a daily habit.

Eph. 5:21 - "Since God is the source of all power, authority; when we submit to His Word we submit to Him. Yes, submit. By using the 'S' word God is saying, "I am not saying you have to like it before you do it." Matt. 11:30. All power; the simple act of being able to use our jaws to chew, to talk, to point a finger at an object, to scratch your toes together when they itch; He's the source .....

We should thank God for all the good that we are able to enjoy. Jehovah a God has given us the gift of life and any good that we enjoy is truly because he allows us to exist.

Whoso privily slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that has a high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud, says the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee. Giving thanks to God in all situations whether good or bad. God reigns over the just and unjust and he changes not. We must trust God in all things knowing he will bring us through every trial and temptation sickness and unfor seen circumstances. We must allow the presence of God guide us to all truths and he will direct our pathways. If we did not have a problem how would we know that God can solve them. Trust God.

Singing Kingdom songs can lift our spirits and help to reachable our thoughts. Verse 19 encourages us to strengthen ourselves and others by focusing on positive and spiritual songs.

Vs. 3-5 A good reminder to do a self evaluation of the things I choose to entertain me. Whether it be TV shows with improper themes, music, or internet videos. I know that individuals who practice what is in verse 3,4 do not have Jehovah God's favor. This helps me to see that I probably can be doing more productive things with my time.
