1 Ahasuerus his greatnesse. 3 Mordecais aduancement.

¹And the king Ahasuerus layde a tribute vpon the land, and vpon the Isles of the sea.

²And all the actes of his power, and of his might, and the declaration of the greatnesse of Mordecai, whereunto the king aduanced him, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?²
