While the book of Esther does not mention the name of God, it is evident from the actions of Mordecai and Esther that they were both faithful servants of the true God Jehovah.
For example, take a look at this:-
Throughout the record it is strongly evident that Mordecai both accepted and obeyed the law of Jehovah. He refused to bow down to honor a man who probably was an Amalekite; God had marked the Amalekites for extermination. ( Esther 3:1, 5; Deut. 25:19; 1 Sam. 15:3) Mordecai’s expression at Esther 4:14 indicates that he expected deliverance from Jehovah and that he had faith in divine direction of the entire course of events. Esther’s fasting, together with similar action by the other Jews, for three days before she went in to the king shows reliance on God. ( Esther 4:16)
for mordecai the jew was next unio king ahasuerus, and great among the jews, and accepted of the multitude of his drethern, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his seed
I really enjoyed reading the book of Esther in its entirety. It ministered to my soul. It is amazing how evil or wrongdoing never wins. My spirit is rejoicing for Mordecai even though this story is old. I feel like more than a conqueror after reading this!
This is my first time reading the book of Esther in its entirety. I saw the movie one night with the king and I could see what it was talking about as I was reading. God is so good. I was challenged to read the entire book of Esther before reading a book by Ray C. Stedman called "For such a time as this". So now I am excited to see what it will say and the revelations it will bring. Thank you.
When we trust the Lord all things work together for our good. Esther and Mordecai found favour in God's sight and they were blessed. The good you do today will benefit you tomorrow, Mordecai saved the Kings life and He was rewarded greatly. Always do to someone good things as you would want them to be done to you.
The book of Esther is a book of obedience and humility. Chap. 10 evidence of Jesus' coming...not! Not even Jesus knows the day or time. Why do people keep doing that? The only thing you need to do is stay in the Word and be ready.
First time I have read the book of Esther as a whole all at once. I have really enjoyed reading this book! What a work of faith and a boat load of blessings when we simply trust in the Lord!!

I have been reading the bible all the way through on this site and it is truly a blessing. I recalled one time when I was studying an interpretation bible; the Lord made it known unto me that He wanted me to study the KJV bible only. Then He allowed the bible that I was reading to come like a poison serpent in my hand; it frightens me and I threw it down. Every since then He began to show me how some of them change the actually meaning of His Holy word. Therefore I have been studying the KJV bible and I have truly enjoyed reading from this sight. I will soon complete reading the entire bible through this site. It is truly a blessing. Halleluiah!
