For me, being in Christ Jesus would mean that I have received Him into my life as my Lord and Savior. He is in me and I am in Him and nothing can separate me from Him. Jesus said in John 14:20, "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye (in me), and I in you. So Jesus is making a connection for us here.
In Colossians 2:9, Paul says "For in Him, (in Christ), dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" or in bodily form. When we receive Christ, and we are born of His Spirit, we have the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit living inside of us. Not part of Him, all of Him. You know how long it is going to last? Forever!
We have to understand that we have a spirit. And when God's Spirit comes into our spirit, we become one, never to be undone. His Spirit is in our spirit. And when we die, when our spirit leaves our body, He's taking us. His Spirit and our spirit will never be separate from now, throughout eternity!
So this is what it means to me to be in Christ Jesus. I am in Him, and He is in me.
Fanita Verses pertaining to in Christ or in Christ Jesus or of Christ which is always in reference to the son of God seated at Gods Right hand in the Heavenlies and the power and authority of that position spiritually. Romans 1:16 3:24 7:4 8:!+2 Notice no condemnation In Christ Jesus 8:9 of Christ basically whole chapter about Christ and walking by the
spirit of God which is Christ in us the Hope of Glory. We were saved by the Humiliated one our Lord Jesus Christ, we walk
in the Exalted Resurrected Christ spiritually. Read all the verses concerning the above mentioned context its
I agree 100%. In the US there are currently 2 presidential candidates and one is for killing babies and the other isn't. I don't know how a Christian in good conscience can vote for someone who wants to commit evil and mass-murder.
Sounds like modern day abortion, as for killing babies. We need to fight this evil in our land by turning away from the political party that advocates abortion at any stage of pregnancy.
The Sabbath is Saturday, and has been since God created the world and rested on the 7th day Sabbath.
Mark 2:27-28
27. And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Many (way too many) of the modern church's today no longer teach that Christians should adhere to the 4th commandment/sabbath, they even go further and teach that all of the commandments are minimized, or no longer in affect. they say they are old laws given during the Old Testament times, and really don't pertain since Christ died on the cross and has risen we are NOW free from the Law. This thinking is inconcevable ....if you really read and understand the scriptures.
When, ministers or others say that we don't need to follow the 4th commandment or the other commandments; I ask them about explaining away this verse by Jesus below:
I believe that many Christians truly love God. What I don't understand is why most Christians believe that the Sabbath is done away with or that it is Sunday. The other nine commandments are fine, so why omit this one that identifies God as creator, Lord and owner of the universe? The idea that we are no longer under law just does not cut it. No society, nothing in nature, nothing mechanic can operate without laws.Without law there would be no grace . Therefore if someone were to say we are no longer under law, how do we get grace? The Law! If you are speeding on the road and is stopped by an officer to get a ticket, it is because you have broken the law. If you beg or he decides to give you a chance this time, that's grace, based on him giving you a chance because you broke the law. Some texts to consider
Romans 3: 31
Romans 6:15
Romans 7:7
Exudos 20: 8-11
James 2:10
Revelations 22:14

If I'm reading your comment correctly, it sounds like you're comparing yourself to the Israelites that were enslaved in Egypt and that you in the USA today are much worse off. Did I understand your comment correctly?
If so, I'd like to learn more about why that would be, because I know you have the freedom to read the Bible on this website, which is great- the Israelites didn't have this. Second, you have an internet connection, Third you have a computer, tablet, or even a smart phone in order to view this page- and Israelites who were slaves worked all the time and didn't have such luxuries, and you live in the USA, which is a free country with no slavery. Finally, you are fluent in English which shows you received a modern education, which the Israelite slaves didn't have either. Maybe you have other blessings too- these are just 5 I can deduce logically from your comment. Slavery was and still is a sin of the whole world with nearly all countries involved, including the USA, but most people were against it and that's why they lost the civil war. Everyone from that time died and everyone alive today in the USA is rich, privileged and free, unlike some other countries today. So it is a privileged country to live in with the average citizen making multiples more than the average wage of the world- many want to immigrate there for the great opportunities and the strongest GDP in the world.
Given that, are you truly worse off right now in the modern and free society of the USA than an abused, poor slave in Egypt from thousands of years ago? If you are in captivity, of course call 911. But if maybe I didn't interpret your comment right and if you're not worse off than a slave then maybe you instead have a prayer request? God bless...
That is terrible that you call the hebrews "the children of Isreal", they are no children...; they are are no God people....they did exactly as other heathens and people in area
.....they called upon God for material goods and land......and to be superior to others.....
They came to to egypt because there was a famine in thier to be promised land; it is true that God hepled joseph...their number increase by thousands.....by no way I am not endorsing what the mean pharoh instructed the midwives to do....
I have been in the USA for and with in few years forty years and I am treated much worse than that......this almost four thousant yeas later..............
You need to get into Matthew 5. You life will be much more pleasant. Read this link.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Comment:
If someone curses you; the way you turn that curse into dust is to bless the one who cursed you. It turns the curse away from you. Christians don't get mad and get even. It just gets you into trouble.
If you forgive....it releases God to get involved in the other persons life. That's how it works.
Are there any curses in the bible that last longer than the third and fourth generations? I am particularly interested in a curse against someone who has transgressed against people who have less than them. Thank you for any help you can give me.
I would give this 1-10 a 10 because this is the bible readdddd the bibleeeeeeeee always you need to do something you at home bored read the bible it is easy point blank period!
when did heaven hell show up in writing its not in the old testament moe or job didnt use it God is God heaven and hell is right here on earth mankind has turned heaven into a living hell and only till he see the sun for life will he be able to live. ask me truth
This is not about immigration people. This is about the 'fear (reverence) of God' and faithfulness to HIM. He blesses those who love HIM, believe in HIM, trust in HIM and obey HIM.
It is not a "slavery" obedience, it is obedience in love to HIM. God was bringing about a 'people' of whom God was using to bring about salvation, grace and mercy!
Who in the world has ever left their home for a "randomly chosen" country? Migrants come to America to find a better life, often because of life-threatening or intolerable conditions at home. They choose America because we proclaim, "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free... Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me." A promise we are now betraying.
If I leave my country for another randomly chosen by me then I should expect to have priority and rights over the existing citizens of that country? And if they resist me then they're immigrant-phobic and need to change, not me? I wonder if this is belief is a falsehood. The Bible says to respect others Luke 6:31 and not give favoritism, so I think this idea seems untrue.
Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. Its very clean that this Raamses is a city. Maybe named after Raamses the past ruler.
The chapter reads like a modern news article in places.Fear of alien cultures overrunning the natives.Immigration leads to hard working ways and a strength of character that natives take for granted, however in the ancient theme of hospitality expulsion is dangerous to rites. However, is this an err by the Israelites for not leaving for their Canaan lands? They would have had to struggle to retake
This chapter talks about how Israel were very fruitful and multiplied more than the Egypians. It reminds me of the scripture that says "If If God had not been on our side, ye sons of Jacob would be consumed.
Christ is to walk by Gods word in action via the spirit given us, better known as fellowship with Christ and God.

and write down the places this specific term is used. It relates to where Gods sees us how he sees us what He's
