God is so good - ALL the time. He kept Moses' family together. I love to see Him work!!!

Hebrew women were very wise women ! In spite of man position or title, God is All Power) Ps 23 ,he led the Hebrew women ! It was a blessing for Moses , his mother,and sister. To be rescued by the kings daughter.

It is a wonderful book which gives the account of the Hebrew people and how God has His own plan to deliver His people when they trust Him.

Moses parents were Amram (his father) and Jochebed (his mother).

God is faithful, He is a God of the impossible. All we need to do is have the trust in Him and have the same faith that Moses' mother had. The woman knew somewhere in her that the child won't survive in the water but she had faith that someone might rescue him not knowing that God was going to use the enemy to save her child and raise a great leader.

Parents will go over board to protect a special child. A mother's nature is to protect not destroy. When you feel surrounded by evil, look for ways to work against it. Be alert for the opportunities God gives you, and take full advantage of them. Focus on God, and trust him for the way out. That is all He needs to begin His work in you.

It's totally amazing how God makes way and blesses His people in the worst of conditions. praise God!

On Exodus 2:1 does not tell us who the names of Moses parents were. Who were they?

It is interesting to note that God had a special plan for Moses. He was raised in Royalty , being prepared to lead God's people. Despite his sin in killing the Hebrew man , he was forgiven by God and continue to lead his path. Notice in verse 17 Moses again shows leadership and compassion as he protected the Maidens from the abuse of the shepherds , only this time he did not take the life of anyone. The last three verses of the chapter now brings forward the task ahead for Moses to do . God now hears the cry of His people and is now ready to put His plan in action through Moses. We show realize that we serve a forgiving and compassionate God ,who is willing to forgive us when we fall short. If we fail Him we should then ask for forgiveness and repent, surrender our life to Him and allow Him to take control.

Signs, wonders are current because God is alive and the false exist and travels faster than the wind. The true must exist because the false is there where the false is there, the true also must exist. I have to be authentic in the authenticity, God wants to come with signs and wonders. God wants me to be confirmed by the signs and wonders, throught that others will understand that God exist

Every gift God gives has a voice and destiny.So God gave the hebrew woman a son and she decided to hide the son but becouse he has avoice and adesiny she could not hide him. Becouse the gift is from he will always protect the gift, so moses was placed on the dangerous nile river and it was the same nile river where Pharaoh decree that every mail child must be put.But God protected him becouse he was a child of destiny.

This story is similar to Jesus 's story... As I was reading it it came to mind that Moses was born for a great purpose... God 's ways are not like our way... God create something out of nothing. God knew that Moses will be the one that is going to lead Israelites and God knew that Moses is going to be his Mouth... This is such a powerful and a great message...

The statement was made that Moses saw an Egyptian kill a Hebrew man whose wife was caught having an affair with the Egyptian. Is this correct? If so, where in the Bible does it say this?

there is need to thank God for whatever thing that happens in our lives either good or bad because he is the author of life sometimes we go through challenges in life so that God can speak to us if Moses did not go through that challenge that made him run to exile properply he would not have spoken to God

Pharaoh,a type of satan and Moses a type of Jesus.Moses life was saved at time there was order that all male Hebrew children should be killed.check when Jesus was born.Moses thought he could free his brethen by his might BUT God wanted him to do so as a sheperd.check John10:10ff.I believe his Hebrew brother who he freed from the Egyptian went and broadcast it to his other brethen not to destroy Moses but to praise him.
