If Sunday is the first day of the week, Then Saturday is the seventh day. Where in the Bible does it say Sunday is the first day of the week. If Saturday is the seventh day we all sin.
TENOR IN THE EXACT WORDS "TENOR OF CONTRACT" IN ORDINARY ENGLISH, NOT JUST WHAT IS SAID, BUT WHAT IS MEANT BY WHAT IS SAID; THE GENERAL MEANING; THE PURPORT. SO GOD IS TELLING MOSES MY CONTRACT IS BETWEEN THEE, AND THE ISRAELITES. GOD CAUSED THE FACE OF MOSES TO SHINE AFTER 40 DAYS AND NIGHTS WITH HIM GIVING HIM THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, AND WARNED THEM NOT TO MAKE ANY gods OF THE NATIONS THAT HE WAS CASTING OUT BECAUSE HE IS A JEALOUS GOD. JOSEPH USED THAT WORD WHEN SPEAKING TO HIS BROTHERS IN GEN. 43:7 TO LET HIS BROTHERS KNOW HOW SERIOUS THE CONTRACT WAS BETWEEN THEM. GOD IS LIGHT, AND THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN HIM. SO IN ORDER FOR US TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH A HOLY GOD, WE MUST WALK IN THE LIGHT AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT.WE DO THIS WHEN WE LOVE THE LORD WITH ALL OUR HEART, MIND, AND SOUL, AND LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.
What does the word, tenor, mean in 34:27? Is it saying for Moses to write the explanation of the 10 Commandments down. In other words, just writing the 10 Commandments in another way but the meaning is still the same. God wrote the 10 Commandments with His finger and it says, "for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel". The covenant is the 10 Commandments. Please, I would love to see your imput. Thank you.
You have to remember that tose were direct translations. As such, letter that make certain sounds, would not be what they seem. Like the "i" in "Iebusite" its actually pronounced with a hard J. Sorta like how "J" is pronounced as an "h" in spanish.
hi jo freddie, the jebusites were the inhabitants of jebus. (jerusalem was called jebus before God cleansed it and made it His own) see 1 chronicles 11:4-9
