We are free of enslavements when We Accept His promises. And Salvation is an Individual thing.
  • Child of God on Ezekiel 18:26 - 11 years ago
I think that it is better to walk with God and live then to turn from him and live in sin and die in that sin.Because the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.
  • Magira on Ezekiel 18 - 11 years ago
some of christian claim that, the soul never die, only body that die, the just taken from the body, then it goes to heaven, or in hell depending on spiritual status, but here ezekiel, give the truth about death, here ezekiel mean that if you wont repent your sins then you will die forever,a hope that of living with god in heaven is for those accept jesus and repented their sins.
  • Timothy Wayne George on Ezekiel 18 - 12 years ago
God is equal, and all His ways are righteous. God does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked. God gives man time to repent, but if the wicked fail to repent, he will die in his sins. The father shall not bear the sins of the son, and neither shall the son bear the sins of the father. If a righteous man turns from his righteousness, all of his righteous deeds will not be remembered. The man of God is to warn the wicked, so that he will turn from his wickedness, but if he fails to warn the wicked, God will hold the man of God accountable for his blood. God is not willing that any would perish, but that all men would come to repentance. So count the patience of God as salvation.

    Evelyn,
Obviously you do not understand that "death" is not "ceasing to exist," but is separation. You are looking at death in a purely physical way. Spiritually, nothing "ceases to exist" - ever. The LORD God did not intend for anything to ever "cease to exist," but designed a place in which the souls of the men and angels who have rebelled against Him will exist, separated from fellowship with Him, with His wrath directed against them for all eternity.
  • Evelyn on Ezekiel 18 - 14 years ago
People are misinformed about the matter of the soul saying the soul in something inside us which doesn't die but Ezekiel 18:4 helps us to see that can die.
