Tyrus appears almost identical to the beautiful whore (ridding the beast) found in the book of Revelation.. especially after considering the reason God's wrath is applied to each of them. 2018 may 'get-by' for a second (because of God's Mercy) but 2018 will not get-away. Wow! Wow! Wow!

Verse 12 to end of Chapter is an indictment from God to/against the Evil Priest, Melchiresha, and all those involved in the Priests' efforts to overthrow God's kingdom. The ultimate penalty is he shall be put to death as a man.

GOD's warning to all those that cross the line GOD warned us not to cross. Once anyone cross that line we are lifted up with a 'distructive-pride'; This 'pride' caused Tyrus, and ..., and ..., to receive GOD's warth... In 2017 the nations have cross that line, therefore we / the nations shall not excape GOD's warth... Thank GOD for the Blood of Jesus Christ that save, protect, keep. WOW, WOW, WOW!

Verse 17: This verse is a good reminder to not allow beauty or natural abilities and talents to cause us to become proud. That was Satan's downfall and we do not want to imitate him in any way.

25-26 The Lord Jesus Christ will make Himself known to the House of Israel by coming in power and great glory to execute judgment and vengeance upon all her evil neighbors which despise her. The whole Testimony of the Scriptures is Christ the King of Israel and of all the earth: when Jesus makes Himself known to His brethren, then will the Nations also be delivered from the covering of darkness.

I believe he is talking about the Devil (Satin) when he refers to the King of Tyra's. Reference is made to him having been in the Garden of Eden and that he was highly respected in heaven until the Lord found his iniquity (Pride). This may having some reference to the tribulation. I am interested in what other people think. This needs to be read with Isaiah 14.

Jay you need to read. This is speaking of a cherub that's not a man! This Tryus which means rock and in the song of Moses Deut.32 their rock is not our Rock. This cherub was in the garden of Eden, that old serpent. This cherub was at the Holy Mountain of God right at the Throne of God is what it's saying. Wiser than Daniel, come on how much information does a person need to see the truth here.

To Charley on Eze.18 - At the bottom of every 'comment' page (or top) there 'commentary' by Matthew Henry. I read it just now and the Lord's spirit let me know what Henry says is - true. M. Henry was 'led' of God; Just like King Cyrus was in rebuilding the Temple.

Ezekiel 28. Is not talking about any devil or satan. It is talking about a king and the city. Lucifer is written only once in the book of isaiah. God will put a stop to it, but Satan is a terror to this world! He is a terrorist-the supreme terrorist on earth-and he rules over all terrorist! How many people understand that? He is really the one behind all the violence and terrorism and evil in our world today!

In this verse, Satan and the king are used interchangeably. It means that Satan was really the King of Tyre! God talks about the king of Tyre and Satan the devil almost as one and the same, because Satan rules over Kings!

This is referring to an earthly King whose destruction would lead to the release of Israelites from Bondage.People 's problem is we try to sensationalise what those earlier evangelisers failed to understand which they now take as good teaching

But this clearly is not speaking of a mortal man. This is referring to Lucifer, who became Satan.

i think verse 1 to 10 talks about a descendant of satan who would be extremely powerful in terms of world power but would be alterly destroyed in the end.and verse 11 to 20 talks about the creation,appointment,sin and destruction of satan.

When you read Exodus 39 v1 to 13 you will understand Ezekiel 28.

Satan was demoted from being the protective Cherub, because of his pride and because of what he did in the first world age.(deceiving one third of God's children) Satan was demoted from office, not kicked from heaven at that time like so many people believe today.

If i understand this right, the stones of fire are related to all the other angeles, all nine orders. his holy mountain refers, i believe is God;s throne you were blameless in your ways,God created him to be perfect above all angeles. the covering might refer to the ark of the covenant?.

This is absolute proof that can be chiseled in granite that Satan will be totally destroyed forever. Yet you have those who will tell you that God in his great mercy will save every soul including Satan...which is off the chart insanity!

I feel that Matthew Henry's comment should have been split into four separate prophecies:
1) Against the PRINCE of Tyrus/Tyre - verses 1-10. (He is a mortal - verse 2 - "...yet thou art a man..") 2) Against the KING of Tyrus/Tyre - Satan - verses 11-19
3) Against Zidon - verses 20-24
4) The restoration of Israel - verses 25-26.

This chapter lets us know the nature and appearance of satan, who earned his way up to being a cheribum and the protector of the mercy seat in the first earth-age, and was made in "the full pattern", in that he was extremely smart, charming, beautiful, all of which lead him to become full of pride. He then desired to sit in the mercy seat, thinking he was better than even God himself, which was the beginning of the downfall of him (the catabol) and the distruction of the first earth-age. This was when satan was sentenced to death (to be turned to ashes from within)

Ezekiel ch. 28 reveal to me how as human being our life here on earth is a reflection of what go on in the spirit world. Here was a king no doubt was loved by his pears admired by those who was subjected to his ruler-ship yet when the prophet look at him under discernment he saw Lucifer incarnated.
