The phrase "Then they shall know.... is so often used yet even after the fact of each particular scenario where such a phrase is used, Israel continues in sin. What would be a more logical explanation for the word "THEN"/?
The word "THEN" is from the Hebrew καιG which can mean copulative or cumulative; The "THEN" is a one time event at the end of the Gentile Age and the defeat of any or all enemies of Israel. This might account for why the overlap of time after the 2300 days (7 years) of Daniel 8:14; time toe cleanse the Temple.
In my humble opinion, this is the THEN. it all adds up to a single point in time.
what prophet Ezekiel said was that even though u hav be able to work righteously 4 many years if u lost ur life in evil way, u are perish and ur righteous work would not be remembered.
Ezekiel 33 is warning from God to the church about the danger of second death. It is not the wish of God for anyone to go hell fire. A sinner who repent from his sin will go heaven likewise a righteous man who continue in his righteousness will go heaven. In conclusion God don't want sinners to continue in their sin nor the righteous to depart from the way life.
What a prophetic picture of God's desire for the men & women of God today to fulfill the mandate of the great commission. " For ye all shall prophesy!' I heard of a wonderful message preached called ..." Don't Get Caught Red Handed" Perhaps those of you who are Pastors, Elders, or Ministers should take the liberty to preach that in your next gathering. After all it is time to " **** the trumpet as never before. Amen?
Ezekiel 33:1-9, God sets his servant as a watchman to the people (you over me, verse 7), I have set thee/you a watchman to the house of Israel, therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me! (verse 8), when I say, o wicked man, thou shat surely die, if thou doest not speak to warn him/warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his sins/iniquities, but his blood will I require at thine/your hands! (verse 9), but if thou dost, thou/you shalt have delivered thy/your soul. Repent, turn from the ways of the world, and be transformed by the renewing of your mind! And do not after the gods of the people of the people which are round about you... turn, repent, and see the goodness of God. Without repentance, fasting, and prayer, there is no way to see God... May the blessings of Jesus Christ be upon you, for this is the true GOD and eternal life.. Amen.
Some would say that this verse means you can be saved but if you don’t live up to God’s standards you can lose your salvation. I find this hard to believe, because it’s not what I do, but what Jesus has done for me Calvary. Once saved, always saved. Yes you can lose the joy of your salvation but not your salvation.
