Verse 12: Paul acknowledged that the good news that he was preaching was not from men but was of divine origin.

Galatians 1:15 “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,”

Our mothers womb we must get separated from are the false concepts, fables, all religious traditions that emphasizes man instead of Jesus the Christ.

Cleanliness is next to godliness this is a lie. God will save a person covered in filthy!!!

I was just reading over our discussion from back in June: the way this format is set up sometimes leaves you in a bit of a time warp, and the discussion can get thrown off the rails. If you examine the answer for your first question, the answer which you call correct is actually wrong. The answer, in order for it to be totally correct, must include the Father. If you look at the textural answer it states that, "by Jesus Christ, and God the Father. This answer is the one and only true answer. It was by the will of the Father also, not just Christ.

I love this chapter, Paul was serious. I find the Bible fascinating and love God so much for loving us. We have been indoctrinated into this evil world, glad to see you all staying close to the word. When I see comments I made on YouTube mths ago, I use to cringe, now I laugh and correct my behavior. Good job reeling in the vanity beast...God bless us all

In verses 11 through 13 we see that humility helped Paul to accept counsel. If we cultivate humility, this will help us to accept counsel as well.

"Everything is not an attack"; When people speak against (turn into lewdness; His word, when they say God does not mean what he says, and they add to the word,it is spiritually attacking him,I abide in him. Lu2677; I'm sorry; I didn't mean any offence; and I don't think it was going "carnal." I just think it is so sad that people today ARE so super sensitive! I too have much to grow with my reactions and sensitivities; but that is not the way Jesus was, nor how He taught us to behave. Are we going to have a tantrum when we are called upon to witness for Jesus before those who seek our lives? Peace !!

Let me say since you have expressed your feelings that you think I am"too sensitive",and I speak as one under "attack" I look foolish to some. I don't recall writing that I felt personally attacked.I do not contend for my own thoughts. You have taken this discourse to a personal carnal place, so I will step away. Lu2677; No, I'm not correcting you :) The subject of faith and works is talked about by many. I'm trying to engage in good and profitable conversation about the things of the Lord. I know! with only 400 characters allowed, you really have to edit and condense your thoughts; and sometimes there just isn't enough room to say it exactly like you want. Oh well, I'm glad anyway that we have this venue.

A disciple;I have not argued whether salvation is of works or by faith. Eph.2:8 tells us it is by His grace we are saved through faith, a gift. A gift meaning there are no requirements made by God of us to attain this gift;it is not given as a result of works, lest anyone should boast.I contend that faith without works is dead faith.Just to clarify to others that do not get where I am coming from

Lu2677; I know sometimes my way of wording can be odd; but I was referring to the constant argument (that in my opinion IS NO argument), about whether we're saved by works or by faith. Our works make manifest our faith; right? the fruits we bear are the works; which are the reflection of that grace which has been wrought in our hearts, by faith in Jesus. God works in us as we walk in truth.

Lu2677; I very much appreciate the conversation, Thank you! I don't think we're disagreeing; but maybe not on the same page. The thing I think is troubling you; (correct me if I'm wrong); is this idea that anyone could actually be good in the Lord's view, even when he or she is a sinner. Luke 7:45-48 shows what I'm talking about: in that we judge righteous judgment, and not use the Law to destroy.

YES, A GIFT Amen! That God released Adam and his wife, shows that He loves and forgives those who know not what they do. Jesus didn't come into the world to destroy men's lives, but to save them. If we say we know Him, we ought to know how He still plans on saving the world through Jesus. The gift is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ coming into the world to SAVE US! That's why we're still here!

Lu2677; When the Lord stood before Pilate, the Governor asked Him; "You are a king then?" and so Jesus told him, "You say that I am a king: for this cause came I into the world...to bear witness of the truth; all they who are of the truth shall hear my voice." He came to call sinners to repentance: repentance comes out of acknowledgment of the truth and integrity of heart by reflecting that grace.

( Mt. 7:19-20) Now from the picture of the Judgment Day given by the Lord in Mt. 25; it is evident that our works shall save us or ruin us: like James said; "Show me your faith without works; and I'll show you my faith by my works."

There was no change in Paul until God called him, struck him blind temporarily and then revealed to him who He was.Paul believed God and worked diligently in his spiritual walk,the Holy Ghost was upon him.My beloved brother Paul had much to repent of; he persecuted Christians, threw them in jail, beat them and killed them. God inspired Paul to teach sound doctrine. God's mercy endures forever.Amen

Paul did not immediately run out into public ministry the day he was knocked off his high horse. He did not run out looking for a Bible College where he could dump tens of thousands of dollars, for "their" certificate of completion. Paul had the Calling right from the Lord Himself, with a powerful vision and prophecy; so he responded in the only way fitting; he got alone with the Lord and waited!

"fear of robbing God" I don't see much "fear" being expressed here at all.
Salvation is not by works,it is by grace through faith, a gift. Eph.2:8. Carnal man does not have the ability to do anything good apart from God."There is none that do good, no not one." The righteousness that man has is God's righteousness.Man cannot do anything to gain salvation. He said"faith without works is dead."

Disciple,Not sure I understand your question,through no fault of yours.Matt.7:18-21.Is the context of V. 20,By their fruits you shall know them" I don't see this as specifically referring to the ones that "fail God". "fruits" are of those good, and of those that are corrupt.Using discernment and knowledge we know them by their fruits.V.21 "Lord,Lord" those that proclaim righteousness,but are lost.

How does the statement, "saved by grace through faith, and not by works," make someone struggle with the equally true statement, "then truly by their fruits you shall know them;" (referring to the works of one who fails the grace of God) ?

Yes, Amen, Lu2677; as the Lord said, "When you have done all that is commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which is our duty to do." I think that so much of the discussion surrounding the idea of whether or not we are "saved by works" seems to come from the idea that obedience is something special we give to God; and a MISAPPLIED fear of robbing God of His glory.

Gal. 2.16 says "knowing man is not justified the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ

jesus answered ans said the work of God is to belive in the one he as sent. Just like the old testament belivers the just shall live by faith Yes they be lived and acted on the faith
