No, Cain was the first child of Adam & Eve, even as Genesis 4:1 declares. I realize that there's false teaching around to indicate otherwise, but that just comes from one's overactive imagination.

    1 THESSALONIANS

    11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead) that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep (dead)

    THE RAPTURE OF BELIEVERS-

"Caught Up In The Clouds To Jesus"

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them IN THE CLOUDS to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

    YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

If you read these two chapters I think this should answer your question.

    2 Peter 1, verse 20 and 21

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

    2 Timothy 3:16

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

  • The Believers CAUGHT UP in the CLOUDS - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
We're told in the parable of the 10 virgins to be prepared; to have our lamps full of oil. (That would be the oil of joy of the Holy Spirit)

According to Jewish marriage traditions: after the betrothal when we accept Jesus as Savior and Lord, there's a period of time when the details of the marriage is worked out. The grooms father will announce it when all is ready in preparations. The Groom builds an addition onto his fathers house for he and the Bride to return to after the wedding ceremony.

In our part of this we are to wait, with wedding dress and oil. To WATCH and be READY to go with Him as soon as He appears. All born again believers are invited to this event. It's a covenant between His (Bride) Church and Himself.

The dead in Christ will awake and be changed into their resurrection bodies. Their soul and spirit will be restored to them in the CLOUDS. Their caskets will be left open: the cremated, those lost at "sea", or bodies never recovered, burned, whatever state of the remains: will be restored in the blink of an eye.

Then those alive on earth will rise to join them in their resurrection bodies also. We will join our Bridegroom and proceed to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God.

Jesus has invited everybody on earth to experience the joy of salvation and be there with Him. I don't believe we will see what happens on earth after billions of people disappear in that eye blink.

I do believe that the Election of the Gentiles will pass immediately to the Jews that are left on earth. Jews must be accept salvation just as we did. Some are saved Now and will go with Jesus. The Antichrist will be revealed at this time. 144,000 Sealed by God, Jewish evangelists will begin their ministry to the remaining Jewish people and even those LEFT BEHIND gentile unbelievers.

Don't miss out on this! It's been in the Bible for 6000 years. You are invited. Accept It. Come to Jesus Now. Do Not procrastinate.

Thanks, there are so many things I wonder about and it may be silly on my part? One thing, I believe every word in the Bible and I never ask questions to try to prove it wrong I ask questions because I am so interested!

This one I have wondered about and that is that Jesus is going to meet us in the air to judge us so how can he do that when there are millions or billions of people to judge? How could you have that much time? One thing is I know Jesus can do anything with a blink of a eye. How will he be able to talk to that many people? I think I must keep in mind that we may all be spirits not human like? Man what a day that will be, can you just think what it would be like talking to Jesus face to face! One thing I know for sure without a doubt it will be well worth it my friends!!

Continents colliding with each other etc

I don't disagree with the science best guesses you mentioned as to what happened on the early earth...but they are guesses since they were not present to observe when these events took place...for me, like you , I believe that God could have translated the kangaroo from Australia to and from the ark...a supernatural event....and my references were about other translations that scripture describes supernatural events of people being translated over distances that would be described as impossible to science

I'm just saying, trying to give a natural scientific explanation for a

supernatural event is not possible....and this is where Science can only guess how this happens naturally....I 'm. not saying your descriptions are in error....I'm trying to show that other scriptures describe supernatural translations of people

over great distances demonstrates another way of honouring God 's Word and explaining how the kangaroo and other animals could have been moved over such great distances....God scattered them based on HIS plan.

So searching for migration routes is an attempt to explain a supernatural event using natural means....is impossible

and this honoursHIS WORD and glorifies the GODHEAD.....which both of us intend

Hope this helps show we are on the same page in this God honouring attempt to understandHIM and HIS ways

    Dear Norman,

I've thought about that question before, not just how did animals get to their respective geographic regions, but people too. It's my opinion that the Tower of Babel was a significant event. Languages were created and people were scattered. I believe races and cultures and certain geography were allocated to each people group at the same time. For example, Chinese to China, Indians to India, etc. So, did they all get on boats and float around to their destination, or did they teleport? I believe they either they were instantly placed there or they walked. How would they walk with oceans? I think it's possible that the continents were all in one land mass at that time. South America kinda looks like it could fit into Africa, etc. So, I think its conceivable that this connected land mass explains how animals exited the ark and got to their respective climates, and that the Tower of Babel could have been a scattering of land masses and people. Again this is only my theory and opinion.

The Godhead made the entire universe; and left a written record of it. God is infinite. Not constrained to time as we humans are.

Our finite minds are vastly unable to take ourselves off the throne and simply ask God how he did things. Have you read the individual reference notes to backup scriptures on events?

Deep study is tiresome, takes time, involves back and forth reading, spiral notebooks lots of notes: kinda like chicken or the egg...which verse came first. It's worth every hour of effort.

Science has proved that continents moved at one time. Slammed into other continents. There have been islands of land that moved upon the ocean. The info may be on Google?

I find it interesting, worth a look, but I DO NOT allow it to remove God from what the science suggests. God is powerful enough to transport animals to the Ark, all by Himself. The Ark was exactly large enough for them; meat eaters drank milk; grains, greens, eggs were provided for others. Perfect planning.

I find it almost humorous how people try to disprove Gods abilities.

Our futures depend upon Gods abilities and His purpose concerning us humans. He's told us what happens first. Worry is the opposite of faith.

I know with God anything is possible but I have wondered sometimes how did Noah get all of the animals from all over the world to the ark over the seas and from all corners of the earth like back then they had to do it all the hard way and it is truly amazing to me! I am sure there is a answer but I have not seen it and thanks again!

    Re Acts 8:38-40

Philip's 20 mile translation from Gaza to Azotus after his baptism of the Ethiopian eunuch...other translations

1Kings18:12. 11Kings 2:16. 3:14. 8:3. 1Thess 4:16,17.....also, look up how Jesus and his row boat friends " were immediately at the other side of Galilee after they encountered the storm...the Holy Spirit did the translations?

Answers how the kangaroo got from Australia back and forth to and from Noah's Ark

See also at Babel how the people WERE scattered not scattered..." lest we be scattered" in the KJV

If you do a search on "scattered " you'll find more references to " WERE scattered" as opposed to " scattered " in the scriptures..... so the people and animals didn't scatter ( migrate) but " were scattered" just as in these examples on scripture

It's like " beam me up Scotty " from Star Trek..... . and they were translated ( scattered to their destination). They didn't

MIGRATE , BUT WERE SCATTERED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT?

What's wrong with this interpretation of how the kangaroo got to and fro the ark?

Deuteronomy 6:4, "The LORD our God is one LORD". This is God's declaration & also believed by Jews, Christians & Muslims. There is no multiplicity of gods that sit on God's Throne. Yet, when God says, "Let us make man in our image...", we find a revelation about this Nature of God. God has accomplished all His creative work by His spoken Word ( Psalm 33:6, Genesis chapter 1 "And God said..") & in the Power of His Spirit. ( Psalm 104:30, Job 33:4). And this Word was made flesh, Jesus, for the sake of mankind's redemption ( John 1:1-14) & was also involved in creation in the beginning ( Colossians 1:13-19).

Those are a few Scriptures to show that God, Who is One, has sent out His Word & His Spirit to accomplish His Plans. So when we read, "God said, Let US make man in our Own Image", this plurality which you've observed, is God in His Fullness involved in man's creation as also in creating the heavens & earth. Man, (interpreted as Adam), was first created. And "them" would be his wife, Eve, & all his progeny after them that would "have dominion over the earth & its creatures".

Man was "created in God's Image". God is Spirit & no man has seen God at any time - he cannot be described in physically terms. But what we do see is not the physical Image of God, but the part of God He desired that man would also have & benefit from. So looking at God's Character, we see that He is first Holy ( Leviticus 11:44), His Spirit communes with man's spirit, He has the power of Love, of Choice, of Fellowship, of Righteousness (pure & holy living), of expressing Emotions, etc. That describes God & His attributes that Adam also enjoyed, but after Adam chose to disobey God & sin entered into him, sin subsequently marred his physical, mental & spiritual aspects. And this marring, or corruption, fell upon all mankind, i.e. we've inherited this sin nature ( Romans 3:23), & our own lives show us daily how far short we have fallen from that ideal & how far our sins have separated us from God.

Have a question about God's view on Gays. Have known that I was gay for as long as i can remember, ALSO, realize that this is WRONG as far as God's teaching. Am 55 years old and the man that i have fell in love with when i was 20 years old found me. It is a long distance relationship for the time being. I was always so happy when we were friends LONG ago and hoped that we would become more. Thought about him often, even searched but didnt find him. About 2 weeks ago, he found me online and we have been chatting on the phone many times since.

I'm puzzled by the following passages.

    Genesis 1:26

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

To whom is God referring when he says "us?" Is God a singular entity? If so, then why the plural form? And who is this "them?" Men? Then why not say "men" instead of "man?"

    Genesis 1:27

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

If God is a singular entity, then how could both men and women be "in his own image?" Is God a hermaphrodite?

From Wikipedia: "Palestinian Christians are Christian citizens of the State of Palestine. In the wider definition of Palestinian Christians, including the Palestinian refugees, diaspora and people with full or partial Palestinian Christian ancestry this can be applied to an estimated 500,000 people worldwide as of 2000. Palestinian Christians belong to one of a number of Christian denominations, including Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, Catholicism (Eastern and Western rites), Anglicanism, Lutheranism, other branches of Protestantism and others. They number 20% of the 13 million Palestinians."

The Times of Israel, 6 August 2015:

"The head of an extreme right-wing Israeli group opposed to Jewish-Arab integration on Tuesday advocated the burning of mosques and churches in Israel at a public forum.

Lehava chairman Bentzi Gopshtain took part in a panel debating Jewish religious law Tuesday night alongside Rabbi Moshe Klein, rabbi of the Hadassah Hospitals; Tsuriel Krispal, deputy mayor of Elad; and Benny Rabinovitch, a writer for the ultra-Orthodox paper Yated Ne'eman.

Gopshtain's remarks came against the backdrop an arson incident at the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes on the shore of the Sea of Galilee in June. Police arrested three Jewish suspects believed involved in the attack, some of whom were implicated in previous attacks on Christian sites in Israel.

During the debate, Rabinovitch asked Gopshtain point blank whether he advocated the burning of churches, according to a recording of the debate published Wednesday by the ultra-Orthodox news site Kikar Hashabat.

'Maimonides' Gopshtain started, apparently alluding to the rulings of the 12th century Jewish sage, 'you must burn [churches], are you against Maimonides or in favor of Maimonides?'

'Don't tell me about Maimonides, I asked you what you say,' Rabinovitch replied.

'Of course I am,' Gopshtain said."

God is Spirit; a consuming fire.

He chose Israel out of all nations to be his peculiar people. The apple (iris) of Gods eye. His inheritance.

That is why ALL nations are jealous of Israel and try repeatedly to disperse them, eradicate them, strip their land from them, and nuke them off the face of the earth (spoken by Iran often). Now Biden intends to fund the Palestinians with all the money that the USA has blessed Israel with throughout our history as a nation. We did this to ourselves.

    GENESIS 12

[2] And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

[3] And I will bless THEM that bless thee, and CURS him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Get ready to experience CURSES. It's coming to America, soon.

The zeal to fire President Trump will start something you all ignored: Genesis chapter 12.

The first line of the Bible states that heaven is created along with the creation of the earth ( Genesis 1). It is primarily God's dwelling place in the biblical tradition: a parallel realm where everything operates according to God's will.

In Genesis 1, much is written about heaven, firmament, dividing, etc. all those center of the page columns (abc notes) refer to other scriptures. You'll need a study Bible with that feature. Or...

You can go on Google and type in: charts of 3 heavens. NOT all of them are accurate according to scripture.

God is Spirit. He doesn't need to stand on something. The Holy Spirit is Spirit; same thing. In Genesis, Jesus's name is the Word.

    See John 1:1-5

    Philippians 2:8-10, 6 and 3:19

    Revelation 19:13

    Zechariah 13:7

    Isaiah 9:6

All those scriptures may have reference notes to additional scriptures. You need a reference study Bible, to research deeply.

It takes determination to search out the mysteries of God.

Always ask the Holy Spirit to HELP you and TEACH you those mysteries. He's the Spirit of Christ; and a born again Christian has the Mind of Christ. You have everything you need when combined with Faith: faith that the Holy Spirit does what scripture says that He does. Pursue Him.

    Mishael
