    Hebrews 4;12

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

    God is love

    Lust is not love

Only faith pleases God because it's spirit and life.

    His word is pure.

    Matthew 16:23

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men

I know it sounds a bit unusual to some , but anyone can confess Jesus is come in the flesh , but does the spirit of their doctrine ? That's much deeper and only Godly person can discern it if they know the true doctrine soundly .

There are scriptures in Genesis that explain SOME (not all) about the pre-Adamic world.

A word of caution: there are Cults that teach something called Old Earth Theory. It was used to explain archeology, geology, space exploration, ancient religions, dinosaurs, really old human bones.

Although some of these things are alluded to; does not mean a separate book was included in the Bible, or Canonized. God did not Authorize "old earth theory". There is the danger of heresy. Avoid that.

The entire Bible IS ABOUT Jesus Christ. He's practically on every page. If you miss that reality, then you can be drawn away by the Lust for self-importance. (Pride). Ego and arrogance.

The way to deep study the Bible is to get a Study Bible with a CENTER of Each Page Reference Bible. The abc's imbedded in a scripture correspond to a letter in the Center column. You have to stop where you are and go read all of those notes. Those notes will lead you to even more expanded teaching. Ya gotta make notebooks full of notes: how you got from "here", to "there", and everything in between. Skip it. Go buy some Grant Jeffreys books.

This is why I do not engage in Genesis arguments. Question is: how deep is your relationship to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? What is your personal knowledge of, the Knowledge of the Holy? (That's a scripture)

I think, given this TIME in history [His-Story], we should concentrate on the prophesy of Daniel 12:5-13.

WE are the generation that will know what that Chapter has hidden for a very long time. They're coming unsealed. Life and goings on, all over this planet are being unsealed.

Don't get distracted now. Who stands to benefit with us being distracted and led away on fake mystery hunts? Satan.

Be relevant to the signs of the Times. Matthew 24:34, Matthew 25:35

How good are you at reading signs?

There was a mist. Like wet humidity; not actual rain showers. That's why the towns laughed at Noah's preaching that a flood was coming. They hadn't seen rain yet.
  • Virgie - In Reply on Genesis 1:6 - 4 years ago
The Bible gives no records of a hole, who dug it, or how. The hole wasn't important
  • Virgie - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
Genesis 5 - 6 records the flood , time it lasted, where the arc landed , who was on the arc
  • Virgie - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
Genesis 2:6 , says earth was watered from a mist that rose from the the earth,, the flood was the first time it rained from the sky
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
There was rain before the flood. How do you think plants and humans lived. Just no rain like the great rain in Noahs days. 40 days and 40 nights of heavy rain.
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
If you read just one chapter a day, you finish the whole bible before a year is over.

No, kissing is not a sin. Today in France when two friends meet, men or women, they greet each other with a kiss on the cheek.
  • Mishael - In Reply on Genesis 1:6 - 4 years ago
Where did they put Jesus while the were preparing the hole for the Cross ???

He was on the ground, nailed to the cross, face pointed at the clouds.

Don't yell at me thank u very much :)
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
If there was a world wide flood before or after Noah the bible or history didn't record it. But to prove there was a world wide flood, you can come to my place in the Alabama mountains around me and I'll take you up on the mountain near me and we can dig for sea shells and find them. And I live over 200 miles from the Gulf. You probably can do the same in the hills near you, where ever you live. Noahs flood is true.

    Hebrews 9

27 And as it is appointed unto men ONCE TO DIE, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto THEM that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

    > People that have passed on, are in their graves or were dispersed on the wind; hidden in deep waters. It is no problem for Jesus to fetch all of them during the Rapture.

The deceased Believers in Jesus will be

raised up first; and reunited with their born again resurrected spirits in the clouds; which are safe in heaven presently. In the blink of an eye. They will be complete in those resurrection bodies.

Their graves will be left open as a witness to those left behind on earth, that they are with God now.

Next, those born again Living believers will meet Jesus in the clouds and receive their resurrection bodies. Jesus will remove all the saints to heaven, to attend the Marriage Supper of the Bride of Christ (us) and the Bridegroom (Jesus). It's a celebration of our Covenant and future life together.

If we still have loved ones NOW that are procrastinating about escaping what is coming to the earth at that time...now is a perfect time to Evangelize them: get on your knees and pray for them every day. Break that spirit of procrastination, in Jesus Name! Ask the Lord to loose a sense of urgency into them.

All of this is in the New Testament and you need to begin reading chapters (plural) of Scripture to find them yourself so You Know what is going to happen next. Tell others who are perishing around you.

Everybody quit hoping another Billy Graham to be raised up to do it for us. It ain't happening! God wants us to do it. This is the generation of the Book of Daniel. It's us!!! Get over Bashfulness and open with an open statement: how about that Jesus Christ?! The Bible says he's coming back real soon!! Let's pray.

May the Holy Spirit dunk us in boldness!

1 Thessalonians 4:17 And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air

My question is; I was taught that when we die, someone is coming to get us. The saved will be escorted to heaven and all others, worse. And so - if this is the case, why would the earth be opened and those dead in Christ rise and meet the living in the air? And I assume the living refers to the spirits of those saved during the Rapture. They, in the ground, already have died and their souls dealt with at that time of death. They would have received their glorified bodies at the time of judgement. I never understood this meeting in the air with those previously dealt with by heaven when they died. The purpose of it all eludes me. Their bodies would be dust and the spirits long gone to heaven and judgement.

    Simple question. Thats it. Thanks

In my view & giving a simple answer to your general question about kissing, I would say, 'No, it's not a sin'.

However, the act may not be a sin, but within some situations it might lead to sin or at least seriously affect another person's life or future by sending the wrong message. When two people are committed to each other even to the point of planning for a life together, then a display of emotion & intimacy to that level, would be acceptable. In some countries, that of course would be out of the question, as minimal contact, if any at all, would be allowed until after the wedding day.

There is the other aspect of Christians greeting each other with a 'holy kiss' ( 2 Corinthians 13:12). And this simply means a 'loving embrace or warm handshake' as appropriate, signifying our family-ness in the Lord & joy in seeing one another. There is no suggestion of anything more than this.

    Genesis 1:31

"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

    King James Bible

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

    John 6:70

"Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?"

    2 Timothy 4:3

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"

    Matthew 13:37

    He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one

God who is known as Elohim, meaning one God in plurality said, let us make man in our image, thereby revealing what God believes about himself that he is plural and expressing that belief in the words "US" and "OUR" making the image of God as the same with a spirit, soul and body. 1 Thess. 5:23

If I'm understanding you correctly, the thieves that hung on their crosses at each side of Jesus, were hung & nailed in the 'proper manner', so to speak. There's no indication that their crucifixion was any different to the others. There is a tradition however, that the Apostle Peter was crucified upside down at his request, so that his crucifixion would not resemble his Lord's. But that is only tradition & not found in Scripture.

In John 21:18, Jesus told Peter, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not". Some have understood Jesus' prophecy of Peter that one day he would be taken as a prisoner & eventually crucified. We can't be certain that is what is meant. Whatever the case, it is of praise to the Lord that all His servants, the apostles, were willing to lay down their lives for Jesus, as Jesus had done for them. That should be cause of much searching of our own hearts in our love & commitment to our wonderful Saviour.

Deborah was the only female judge in the Bible. She served as judge (a military or civil leader) over Israel as a prophet, judge, military leader, songwriter & minstrel ( Judges 4,5).

She showed exemplary moral character & the people gave her love & respect. She was the wife of Lapidoth & presumed to have lived in Ephraim. She judged & led Israel for about 40 plus years from 1195 BC.

Israel was given over to idolatry & subsequently were bondage to Jabin, King of Canaan. It was at the time of Israel's suffering, that God sent Deborah to secure Israel's freedom. This she did with Barak who was urged to raise up a great army to fight against the Canaanites. She was urged to attend the battle with Barak & his army, though she warned him that after his victory, the glory would not come to him, but to another (to a woman who killed Sisera, the leader of the Canaanite army while he slept exhausted after the battle, at her home). And we know that the Canaanites were defeated by the Hand of the Lord.

After this, Deborah wrote a song about these events & Israel enjoyed 40 years of peace under her & Barak's leadership.
