Adam was the first man because Jesus is the second Adam. Sin entered the world through Adam's sin. Read Roman's 5 God calls the sun sun and moon moon.

I believe all that GOD says. Chapter 1 just makes it so plain and understandable. Male and Female and all creation was made opposite sex. There would be no you nor I if it were not male and female. God is who HE is and I am more than GLAD that HE is GOD...:)

If we seek wisdom let us ask the FATHER who gives liberally. The meaning of this is ask GOD for the understanding before you read a chapter and then make sure to study the context. If you study a little closer you will find that yes their were men and women and angels and giants here before. Adam and Eve. Please take my advice and don’t try to dig in to the Bible so far that you get twisted up.

I have a few question I Hope someone with wisdom can answer. 1. Nowhere does God give the Sun the bane Sun or Moon the name moon. Where did those names come from? 2. It says God created man and woman and for them to "procreat" and fill the earth. Did He create people before Adam and Eve?

I think that this is a really good book of the bible and I´m glad that god did create the heavens and the earth. But what a really good book is, is John and Matthew.

what amazes me the most about this book is the ability of the holy spirit in showing moses things which happened long before he was and to know that the same spirit of power lives in me its the greatest feeling ever holy spirit l love your presence

Verse 27~Man was made in the image of God and that meant that man could reflect the qualities of Jehovah God.

Why didn't God stop here, at the end of chapter 1 of Genesis? Well, maybe after He created Eve in the next chapter. There was no killings, we had plenty to eat and peace. Animals didn't eat man or each other and we didn't eat them or harm them. Animals and Adam ate vegetables and fruit. It was truely a Garden of Eden and a paradise.

In the Book of Resurrection Jesus is called GOD. But is he GOD the Father? The Creator of all things? Od did the Father create the worlds thru Jesus?

When considering Genesis 1 I am so very impressed by many things: God's infinite POWER, God's PLAN, and God's DELIGHT in His Creation. Then I remember John 1:3 "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." Jesus Christ, God's Son made it all. He is the Creator of all things! Oh, what a Savior, the Creator of the Universe loved me enough to die for me!

when i read genesis it let me know that god is my every thing and every thing was made by god in the world we are living in men think he own the world god the psalm 24 1-3 the earth is the lord and the fullness there of the world and they that dwell there in god have all power in the palm of his hand

There seems to be a tendency to question why God does what He does. We are His creation so we should learn to be more humble and accepting of what He does because His reasons are unquestionable.If we disagree with Him, follow Moses example and ASK Him if He will rethink His position and God shows us He is flexible, Compassionate, Merciful and Giving in His responses. Learn to be Godlike.

God was displeased with Cain's offering simply because Cain had sin at his door. (If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?When you are enjoying the pleasures of sin, and trying to worship at the same time, your offering is vain. We have to come repentant, sorry and believing in Christ. Also Cain brought his offering in the "process of time" rather than firstfruit

It's not for me to think, it for me to believe the word of God through Faith! The original thinkers (Adam and Eve) fell prey to the imaginations of their heart. King Solomon had wisdom from God but then he started to think (experience) and look at the mess he got himself and his nation in. The meaning of the Bible has to be revealed through the Holy Spirit. Be believers not thinkers.
