To Scott The existence of fossilized early man is indeed intriguing, but be careful about adding your own reasoning to interpretation of scripture. There are many questions I 'm planning on asking the Lord when I see Him, but until then, we 're not authorized to "fill in the blanks " about non Scripture specific questions.

I ve done a very exhaustive study on the Hebrew in Genesis chapters 1 and 2 I ve come to the conclusion that chapter 1 explains the creation of the heavens and earth plants animals and man This took place over a very long time as the Hebrew word for day was used in other verses for a very long time Chapter 1 creation is by Elohim Chapter 1 man is to subdue the entire earth including the seas creatures Chapter 2 is a new story about the creation of a special man created by a personal God Yahweh Elohim This man is put in a garden and his job is to tend the garden There is no sea in the garden Chapter 2 introduces a new term for field and the animals brought to Adam in the garden are to help him till the ground there The creatures in Chapter 1 are not specific for working a field It says chapter 2 man has a soul but is silent on chapter 1 man I believe chapter 1 man probabaly includes the lower thinking less conscience Neanderthal and similar pre modern man If you look at the scriptures literally in context and in light of the evidence God has left us of his creation and forget what you ve learned in Sunday school then this is a conclusion that makes sense and honest to the Bible

God doesent need to rest but he did and he can because he is God He also set an example for how we should live our lives it is much better to have a day of rest we function better that way you should also let the fields rest from farming on the 7th year

That verse simply means it rained on the earth for the very first time The SUN caused the mist to go up from the earth which caused the clouds to become full and it rained as it is so unto this day all due to the awesome creations of my GOD

God put Adam to sleep as we do today when one is about to have surgery then God took the DNA from Adam and created woman Men make up the sex of the baby God took the DNA that makes the sex of a girl from Adam and made women

THE VERSE 2 2 IS LOOKING STRANGE ISNT IT BECAUSE IF GOD NEED REST THEN HOW HE IS WORKING NOW IF GOD GIVE US MEAL IF HE IS GOD WHO MOVE THE PLANETS IF HE IS GOD WHO GROW PLANTS FEED THEM US INSECTS AND PLAN FOR THEM HuH IS THERE EVERY 7TH DAY WE DONT GET FOOD AND IS THERE EVERY 7TH DAY WHEN PLANETS DONT MOVE AND THE PROCESS STOPS

So God needed rest after working for 6 days. Thus the cycle of 7 days week started.

The tree of life is no one other then Jesus Christ. Only through Jesus Christ can we have eternal life. Christ therefore is not a tree you see outside. The tree of knowledge of good and evil is no other then Satan himself, not a tree you see outside. If I ask you who is in your family tree you wont name a tree, but a person.

When God Created Adam for the dust of the earth, Eve was in him. That is why the scripture says. Male and female created He them. God didn't have to create Eve from the dust, all He done was remove that rib. Remember God Created Adam, but He made Eve.

The Hebrew word for day is the same word that is used to refer to a 24 hour day. there is no reason to assume that meant anything else. A 24 hour day.

Good morning. In verse 24 the way God planned man and woman to cleave together and become one flesh is truly amazing. Our God is an awesome God!

You or Adam etc didn't or will not die a literally death you /they die/died a spiritual death you can't look at black letters on a piece of papers you gotta go in looking as the lord god which is spiritual

This verse guarantees the fact that a marriage is by a man and a woman. And that the man was raised by a man and a woman. Any other lifestyle does not qualify for marraige

why does God say he made man and woman in the first chapter and then again say in the second chapter man should not be alone and then create woman from Adams rib? Seems to contradict each other.

What a caring and understanding God He did everything perfect. Adam was not left alone with the animal he still has somebody like him to communicate with.

I believe God place the tree in!! the garden to see if Adam will obey or not, that is the freedom of choice. Adam would have been a prisoner forced to obey. The two trees presented an exercise in choice, with rewards for choosing to obey or consequences for choosing to disobey. Ves 16,17. God equips men and women for various tasks, but all lead to the same goal- that is to honoring God. Man gives life to woman; woman gives life to the world. Each role carries exclusive privileges, I believe that should eliminate any attitudes about an inferior or superior sex. Thank you and God bless you all

I believe in Chapter 1 that God created the essence of what is male and female which would apply to animals, flowers, insects,humans, etc. In Chapter 2 He formed the body of man around what is the essence of male AND female, as the sperm of man determines the sex of children. He further formed a body around the essense of what is female and the rib from man which was bone of his body since he was an only pre-formed being that God breathed life into.

God made all things beautiful and ready for his best creature (man) which still remains today, all he wants from us is obedient. If we can do this, all things Will be awesome and great for all.
