Adam and Eve have 2 sons, but where is the other poeple coming from???
  • David - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
Albert The question answers itself since the true God and father of our lord Jesus Christ is all good then logically the adversary or satan is the author of all evil so cain was spiritually his child not by flesh and blood. Look at acts 13:10 Paul calls out elymus

the sorcerer and he became blind. Also in john 8 starting verse 13 talkuing to the leaders ye are from beneath Iam from above

also verses 38-44 same people and in verse 44 ye are of or from your father the devil this is spiritual not physical. a person can get born again of the true God and a persson can get born again of satan which is irreversable which is why Jesus Christ said to

ythem you will die in your sin they were unredeemable. It is written

I wonder where did his evil ways come from
  • Brother Jay. - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
    Yes brother he is.
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
Yes Albert. Cain is Adams son.

    There is no denying this.

Genesis 4:1. And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
  • Albert joiner on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
    is cain adams son?
  • Mishael - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
    Genesis 2:5

Creation is completed and God creates Adam ; then Eve (from Adams rib).
  • ROCKSON ANKOMAH on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
That is where the generation of human beings Started.
  • Melanie Daniel on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
I love reading king james version
  • Mishael on how to read Genesis - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
All people came through Adam and Eve. God used one of Adams ribs to make Eve. Read of this through Genesis 1:26 through to Genesis 2:20-25

Moses wrote it this way; for reasons. He wrote the first 5 Books of Genesis. During the Exodus too. He was trying to handle this all by himself, but came to a point when he appointed people to assist him with the care and problems of the exodus people, on the way to the Promised Land.

Have you ever been writing something important and people interrupt you with: the battery in my car is dead. I need help? That's what was happening to Moses.

So there are 2 places for you to read about man and woman's creation. Read those 2 scripture references. :)

    And__teach it to other people.

The story of how Cain came to be killed is fascinating. You might have to look at those Geneologies in the Scriptures. Sometimes the Geneological Charts on Google is helpful.

Remember that Jesus's Bloodline was moving through Seth's BLoodline.

I found another scripture after I answered your question, GOD is amazing! Seek & you shall find:

    Hebrews 11:4, Matthew 23:35, Hebrews 11:24
  • Albert joiner - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
yea but, that wouldn't have been enough reason to kill his only brother at that time,i gathered some more information says that cain took one of his brother sheep for meat, without asking and abel realized that and he took some of cains fruits& wheat and they confronted each others and anger appeared. all was very helpful thanks karen.
  • Karen Lee Porter - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
He was jealous. God looked favourably upon Abel and his offering because of his faith. Cain had a bad attitude and his offering was not favoured.

    Genesis 3:3-8,

    James 4:1-12, James 1:12-27,
  • Albert joiner on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
why did cain kill abel? there had to have been some type of disagreement between the two that made him angry enough to kill his brother, it says and cain talked with abel.

If you're a young believer, first learn the salvation message found in the 4 gospels & The Book of Acts. In all sincerity, ask God in prayer to fill your heart with his word. (Knock & it shall be opened) listen to various sermons and follow along to fact check. Whet your appetite and the hunger will follow. Have a personal experience with God. Hold every speakers feet to the fire by checking references. Live sermons, radio, tv, personal reading. Take notes. Mark in your Bible. Highlight key verses. Pray & fast. Don't allow guilt for your imperfection discourage you. If you choose KJV, pay attention to middle English. It will soon become natural. Maybe befriend an older Christian. Join a study group and continue to ask for wisdom & knowledge of God's word. He will honor your sincere request. Once the word is in your heart, no one can take it from you. You will soon be reminded often about what the Bible has to say on multiple topics. Use what you have in your hand for specific questions. I would have enjoyed "Hey Google" in my young studies. But now that God answered my request, I can immediately bring forth a few paraphrases regarding most topics. I believe the Word is in my heart. I believe my heart helps my Brain to think. God helps my heart to be humble enough to receive His word. You can too. Develop your hunger. Feast on God's word often. Use your gifts and calling for we all have one.

Hello, not sure what specifically you're looking for, but if you're a visual person you can browse verses like these: Link - I'm sure you can find verses by topic as well.

How do you find the bible verses??
  • Giannis - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 2 years ago
Since the only people at the time were Adam, Eve, and Seth later , the only thing that sounds reasonable is that Cain's wife was either from Seth's line of generation or from the a line generation from other kids Adam and Eve had. Now you may ask, brothers got married to sisters? Yes that's right, it couldn't have been otherwise since all humans come from our two ancestors Adam and Eve.

Dear "Jeremie" we will probably never get an answer to that is my thought. Because the Holy Bible is the pedigree of Jesus Christ. He who will have all the glory now and forever.

And since it is a pedigree, it will from the very beginning be about the first people in Jesus' family. And those people should have control over Eden and all living things on Earth.

Be free from work that leads to death, and believe in the One True God, Lord Jesus Christ.

    Romans6:15-23

Who are the Parents of Cain's wife?
  • T. Levis - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 3 years ago
Genesis 1:26-28, "them" "be fruitful & multiply" Genesis 1:31,

Note Genesis 3:24 "drove out the man" singular, Genesis 3:23, "from the Garden of Eden" Genesis 3:22, "the man" is become like one of us, to know good & evil" is this religion?

    * Note, Genesis 4:14 ._._." everyone thst findeth me shall slay._." proof more people in earth. Genesis 4:15,

    * Genesis 4:16, appears she was from Nod.

Likewise in Genesis 4:23, the man that was slain wasn't mentioned here.

If you read & study the WORD of GOD, many times you will notice names & several other details are left out at times. 1Kings 17:9-24, same Widow? = Luke 4:26, Luke 7:12, Luke 21:2-3, yet many names are mentioned, when studying often times their names come up again, helping understand a more vast picture. Genesis 6:1-2, is this also in reference to Genesis 4:19, ?

Note Genesis 5, generation of Adam leaves out Cain, Abel & all other people. Again: Genesis 5:1-2, Gen 5:3, "male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day they were created" = them, their, they.

    Hopefully this is helpful
