only Noah and his family were righteous. Noah was described as a preacher of righteousness. All the earth was extra corrupt before God because the Giants had been Men of reknown in the earth. The giants were very evil and they thought men their evil ways. Genesis 6

Part 3 of 3 As far as God being angry, why do you really think that the bow rainbow in the sky appears? God is reminding himself not to destroy mankind and the whole earth with water this time. If I can say it like this, God is telling mankind alright you all are really bad, but I will remember my covenant that I made with Noah and will not destroy you all and the whole Earth with water this time. I will place my rainbow in the clouds this will be my covenant between us, Genesis 9 8 thru 17. God can still tear up some things, but he will not destroy the whole earth with water this time. He will destroy it with fire. 2 Peter 3 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Part 1 of 3 Hello P Once Adam ate off the tree of knowledge of good and evil man s conscience was opened up. It did not just close when the flood came. Mankind still has their conscience. Even though we are not living under this Dispensation we are still responsible to do that which is good. The nature of mankind is its own worst enemy. This is why we truly need to follow Acts 2 38 so that the spirit of the Lord, which is the Holy Ghost can change us from the inside out. God has given mankind a way out, through Jesus Christ, death, burial, and resurrection. This is his mercy, grace, and love shown to us.

If I understand this correctly, God was really angry that man was wicked so he killed everyone except Noah and some of his family members, and a pair of the millions of animal species. Some questions I have weren 't there any other nice people in the world ? Why did he kill all of the animals, what did they ever do? Apparently, God wanted to "reset " the earth and man. It looks like it didn 't work, since after the flood we had slavery, world wars, etc... God must be really angry now.

Part 2 of 2 Then you have the scripture in Ecclesiastes 3 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? If I can say it like this, this scripture is stating that man 's spirit will go upward to God and that the beast spirit will go downward to the earth. The meaning of beast, according to Webster, is any animal as distinguished from a human being. Any large, four footed animal sometimes, specif., a domesticated animal.

Part 1 of 2 Hello Everyone I disagree with the Pope 's comment. Animals are not going to heaven. In addition to that animals have no souls. When Noah built the Ark and the animals, Noah, his wife, their three sons and their son s wives entered the Ark the scripture states that only 8 souls were saved. This scripture is significant because it denotes the fact that God recognized the humans with souls and the animals did not have souls. If animals had souls then God would have had it written that every soul in the Ark was saved instead it distinguishes that only 8 souls were saved. 1 Peter 3 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Hello Justin Peoples We are closer to the end time than when we first believed, Romans 13 11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed . How long we have left unto the rapture take place, the tribulation, and Jesus Christ return to the Earth is still not known by anyone, however, it is close. Remember our time is not God s time so we must be ever vigilante, ever ready, and spreading the news to everyone to follow Acts 2 38 in order to be saved and miss the tribulation that is to come.

It appears that the current world conditions are as the days of Noah.....just read the head lines of todays news.

Hello Ibrahim Leadley and Paul When you read the scripture Genesis 2 5 where it states that there was no man to till the ground, this is letting people know that there were no other people created before he created Adam to do anything on the Earth that he had created. After the flood there were only 8 souls to survive. Through this family the world was populated. God first told them to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, Genesis 9 1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. Then God had it written that through the sons of Noah the whole earth overspread, Genesis 9 19 These are the three sons of Noah and of them was the whole earth overspread . John 17 17 Sanctify them through thy truth thy word is truth.

Genetics proves interbreeding with Neanderthals. 4 DNA content Why the big question about who bred with who? Obvious isn 't it? Adam and Eve may be the original H.sapiens, but they weren 't the first Humans to walk the Earth by a long way!

Paul. That 'Bronze age nonsense ' has more going for it than the interpretation put on it on this web site by C.Robinson. There is a sequence of events described there that is borne out by geneticists, cosmologists and archaeologists.

Hello Word I hope today or tomorrow my answer for this similar statement you made under Genesis 3 comes out. I will let the word of God speak for itself. Have a nice day.

Evangelist chatauna Robinson quoting Gods word is fine if you have learned Gods word correctly. You said Angels haven 't married flesh woman but in vs 2 Gods word says the fallen angels did. Now traditios of men will and them that preach it won 't take time to search Gods word and find out these are fallen angels who took woman and had knowledge of old as in verse 4 meaning the first earth age. They had giant children and things got so bad that we had Noah 's flood which was the 2nd great flood which you wouldn 't know about unless you took time to seek and learn and then plant seeds.

Hello Paul Is it nonsense to quote the Word of God? I think not. John 17 17 Sanctify them through thy truth thy word is truth. 2 Timothy 3 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness I assure you that the Bible is truth. Through grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, I have experienced the promise that is spoken of in Acts 2 38. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this word speaks the truth.
  • Paul on Genesis 6:4 - 10 years ago
all these "theories " simply confirm its a load of Bronze Age nonsense that the modern mind is attempting to put meaning to. Anyone that believes this nonsense is better left alone

Hello Mark According to what I have found. The name Noah derived from the name Noach meaning rest or comfort. In translation this word in English is Noah. In the Greek translation this word is Noe. Both spellings sound the same when you pronounce them.
  • Mark on Genesis 6 - 10 years ago
I was just wondering why the name Noah was changed to Noe in the New Testament? Anyone Noah why?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 6 - 10 years ago
Hello Coop I do not understand your statement in reference to verse 2 of this chapter. However, if you are trying to indicate that there were other people on the Earth besides Adam and Eve then you are mistaken. All human life started with Adam and Eve. Then later after the flood all human life started with Noah and his sons, Genesis 9 19 These are the three sons of Noah and of them was the whole earth overspread . The scripture you are referring to is talking about mighty men. These men came from the lineage of Cush when Nimrod was born, Genesis 10 8. If you read Verse 1 it states that when men began to multiply, this is referring to the original 8 souls that continued to bare children and their children had children, and their children had children and so forth.

Hello James I did not read anywhere in the Genesis were they we using animals for vaccines. In Matthew 24 37 38 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, I do not nor have I read that he is coming back because some animals are being mistreated. This is strictly on the humans.
  • James on Genesis 6:12 - 10 years ago
Just have a look at what we are doing to God 's creations today and I think you 'll understand that soon enough. Look up BioSteel.... One example, many more can be found when you research how exactly animals immunities are being used to make human vaccines... As in the days of Noah....hmmm

Part 3 of 3 Man s thoughts of his heart became continually evil Genesis 6 5. The judgment was the Flood, during Noah s time. Only 8 people were saved, Noah and his family, 1 Peter 3 20. God let the flood take men, women, children whether they were rich or poor and all of the other animals that did not come onto the Ark. When the flood was over God entered into a covenant with Noah and all the flesh upon the earth. He placed his bow rainbow in the sky that would remind him that he would not destroy this earth with water next time, Genesis 9 11 thru 17. Man did not have to do anything for this covenant. It was unconditional. It was a blanket promise depending solely up the faithfulness of God to keep his promises.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 6 - 10 years ago
Part 2 of 3 The salvation plan during this time was that man was responsible to do all known good and abstain from all known evil. Before the end of this dispensation we find that sin was hereditary from the story of Cain and Abel, when Cain slew Abel. Remember Adam and Eve had eaten off of the forbidden tree which opened up their conscience to good and evil. Therefore, this has passed down from one generation to another. There is a state of innocence that every human goes through as a child. When we are born we do not know we are naked. However, as we get older and are taught right and wrong and are self aware of whom we are we can make choices whether to do good or evil.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 6 - 10 years ago
Part 1 of 3 Hello Everyone First let me say this, the Bible is broken up into seven dispensations of time. God has always had one way of salvation under each dispensation. These passages of scriptures fall up under the Second Dispensation which is Conscience. It begins with the fall of man in the garden and extends to the Flood. The word conscience means to know. Adam and Eve minds were opened up to the knowledge of good and evil.

Hello J. Price I meant to say, "I do not understand what your comment is saying ". To clarify I believe that those children I mentioned is part of the election process not part of the elect that is mentioned in Matthew 24 24. This elect is talking about the true Holy Ghost filled Christians.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 6 - 10 years ago
Hello J. Price, I so not understanding your comment. Please clarify what you are talking about? If you are talking about children, the ones that are in the wound or aborted children, I believe they are already saved, because they no not good or evil they are part of the elect. Romans 9 11 For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth I also believe that children who are under the age of accountability are also saved. I also believe that children who lives are taken before having a choice to be saved are waiting to judge those who took their lives. This is a very strong belief that I have.
  • J Price on Genesis 6 - 10 years ago
Not commentator has ever answered the question about these 1 2 human, 1 2 angel children 's souls. That "person " would be destined to hell, with no choice. Everyone is born with a body, soul, and spirit. At the moment of conception, this child becomes a living soul. God did not allow the exception in Gen 6. These children born at this time would not have a free will to chose. This is not the God that I know. My free will chose Heaven.

Hello Greg, I would not change any words. This scripture is saying that man has become violent and God is going to destroy all of them. If you read up further except Noah and his family. It also is saying that along with every other human being flesh he is going to destroy the Earth. He did with water. The only living things that were saved was the house of Noah numbering 8 and the animals that God instructed him to bring into the Ark. I know that a lot of new versions of the Bible are out here, but sometimes when we go so far to change words it changes the meaning of the true message of the content. This is why I like the King James Version it is not that much difference between the Dead Sea Scrolls Hebrew Text , The Great Bible, and then the King James Version. You can pretty much see the same content and message in all three. At least I did when I read a portion of it. I do not know if anyone else will agree, but this is my personal preference to stick with the King James Version. I believe that with the true Holy Ghost the scriptures will be opened up to a person. John 14 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
  • Greg coalla on Genesis 6:13 - 10 years ago
... "with the earth "...implies using the substance of the planet...should a more succinct word "by " be used instead?
  • David Charles Hagert on Genesis 6:4 - 10 years ago
I really have no ideal just what is being said here? One thing I do know is angels from Heaven did not come down to Earth for sex! That is the Heavens of Gods, that is where also the angels who are with God reside and no where else especially Earth. The angels talked about here are from Earth. We all are sons and daughters of God,some good, some not so good, and these were the latter. Gen 1 26 We all are created in the image of God,so if born in that image we must be sons and daughters of the living God. Now there is evil spirits in the world and they inhabit our human bodies, which is what the Nephilim are. Jesus casting out many demons in his day. This is just my interpretation.
