Compare verses 36-39 to Hab. In Hab. 2:4, it says, Behold his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him, but the just shall live by his faith." After it is clearly a depiction of that Scripture in the OT, Hebrews here in vs.38 says Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them that beleive to the saving of the soul." Perdition is used in 2nd Thess. verse 2 ch 3 about the man of perdition, who shall come before the LORD comes. I declare that the man of sin is me and is not to deceive the unbelievers, but to have deceived the Christians, for God loves everybody.See Rom11:32

Paul,inspired by God, exclaimed in 1st, Cor. 15:1-4 that salvation, during this grace age, is based solely on the lost believing the facts of Jesus death on the cross, His burial, and His resurrection. This is more than head knowledge this is in the heart. Only belief in these facts saves you. Not prayer, not baptism, not repentance, simply believe, period.

Being born again is by blood and water. Where do we get this blood and water ? You have to cut yourself and mix the blood with water Jn 6 : 53 1 Jn 5:6 an effort that is scarce or is with difficulty 1 Pet. 4 : 17, 18. Verse 36~We must endure in order to attain the prize of everlasting life and all the many blessing that Jehovah God has promised.

The blood of animals could not forgive sins. Was only a shadow of what was to come. God’s Spotless, Sinless, LAMB of God, was the Ultimate Sacrufice: HE DID IT ONCE AND FOR ALL:

Hebrews 10:35. Do not, therefore, abandon that confidence of yours; it brings a great reward. THIS chapter reflects STRENGTH. Our Strengths may seem many. Everyday responsibilities to earthy life. However, we, as Christians, have understanding; TO connect each day with GOD to "recharge " OUR Spiritual awareness. This, then, reflects peace, as well as understanding to others so they will follow.

No comments regarding the Trinity discussion and Christ's pledge made when He came into the world. Hebrew 10: 3. A body was prepared for Him. He came into the world He saith, sacrifice and offering God had no pleasure in. Then said I, lo, I come, this is said by Christ twice, this He has said when He came into the world as a child or when conceived.

We want to show concern for others and encourage others to do good. We can set a good example and this can encourage others to do good.

We must not forsake meeting together for worship of Jehovah God. As the end of this world is coming we must do so to an even greater extent.

Sacrifice of Christ who says, “ it is finished. Souls redeemed, now free of Satan's bonds, forever loosed. Our light is Jesus, and we beg for good-works, more so to be alongside Jesus in Spirit watching and joining him in those works. Not allowing worldly fleshly temptations take us where the devil lives. Encourage fellows with Church, the Word, and the Spirit, continuing our race, even battles.

Here is my understanding.
Hebrews is about Salvation through Jesus Christ only
The sin of the Hebrews is unbelief, A rejection of Christ to go back to the Law and faith in ones own works (self righteousness" To God that is the worst thing one can do- reject his son. saying Christ died in vain. Hence the worst punishment. see Matt 21 40-41

Verse 39~Paul had faith in his Hebrew brothers and sisters. He said that they were not the sort who shrink back.

From my understanding Christ is the head of Church. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches apart from Him we can do nothing. A place where we come together and share our love for Him maybe a Church, a Temple, a Synagogue....or even a tent. God is in us and he is for us and He wants us to come together.

Jesus wasnot a person separate from assembling himself together with believers of like faith. He was faithful to church.

As children of God we will recognize our own family, and its always little slice of heaven whenever we're together; whether for Meeting, or just a few minutes. Sorry to say, but this has rarely been my experience in a Church.

the word of God explains clearly In Hebrews we are not to trod down the Grace of God Jesus died once not over and over everytime we sin which means he would have to died again that's not going to happen

That if anyone sin willfully after believing on the sacrifice of Jesus, there is no more sacrifice for sin. Just a horrible dreading of punishment after death.
