Where is the scripture in Isaiah Prophesized since the Jews disobeyed God. And that's where God wanted to go to all of us Gentiles. Thank You, Keith P. Besch
Imagine the disciples sitting and listening to Jesus words. Jesus words in the book of John ,Mathew, Mark, Luke, word for word written perfectly according to the Holy Spirit, while John is exiled on an Island, the last only and the closest to Christ. What is amazing, while each book is different, in the end it is the perfect combination needed for what we need for our learning, and yet it allows us the freedom to look into those things that freely belong to us, opening our eyes ever wider unto eternal life!
The words are Christs, they are a well spring unto eternal life!
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled!" This is what you seek! His spirit will guide and direct you! Jesus first sermon on the mountain would be a great place to meet Him!
Sanctification comes through faith, Baptism comes through the Holy spirit, the washing of regeneration, a renewal of our body and spirit, the miracle we all wish to see, and will!
Always remembering, it is not us, but what He did on the Cross!
That we might have life and have it more abundantly!
Judge the fatherless - Do justice to him - vindicate his cause. Take not advantage of his weak and helpless, condition - his ignorance and want of experience. This charge was particularly necessary on account of the facilities which the guardians of orphans have to defraud or oppress, without danger of detection or punishment. Orphans have no experience. Parents are their natural protectors; and therefore God especially charged on their guardians to befriend and do justice to them; De 24:17 : 'Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor the fatherless, nor take the widow's raiment to pledge. Albert Barns..
Where it says Judge the fatherless in Isaiah 1:17, Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible explains it this way; "do justice to them who have none to take care of them, and defend them:"
There's those who believe the book of Isaiah have 2 authors because of the contrasting styles between the 1st half of the book and the 2nd half. However Isaiah wrote both halves of the book of Isaiah.
Do a careful research on John 12:37-41. and you will find Jesus contributing both half of the book to Isaiah by quoting from each half of the book.
The Spirit of Christ (the Father) revealed to Isaiah what the spirit of Christ (the Father) wanted Isaiah to put to paper.
2 Peter 1:20 For the prophecy came not of old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake AS THEY WERE MOVED by the Holy Ghost (the spirit of Christ)(the Father is the spirit of Christ).

I was once a King but now just a Peasant King. A King from the beginning but now that Evil has corrupted our Great Nation everything once great is being washed away like it's never was here in the first place. For I seek truth, for sake my soul into the Heavens.
Hello Isa. I wouldn't say that the Bible is a mnemonic (technical?) way to remember. It gives us a complete account of the times in history from the creation of the worlds to the 1st Century AD, as it applies to the Majesty, Wisdom & Power of God and His intervention in the lives of His creation. We can store in our minds a brief reason of each of the Bible Books & even maybe place them in chronological order, so as to be able to 'walk through the Bible', but the Bible itself doesn't assist our memory. The Holy Spirit Who moved amongst the writers of those Bible Books to bring God's Word to us, can also move in our hearts & minds to help us retain knowledge of His Word & bring it to our memories as we have need.
Hi, I am thinking about this too as of course te thought brought out is not in the Bible, but what remains, God's Word is true. Adam and Eve learned this in their error. Likewise now knowing that God's Word is true, they were promised a future by faith which is hope. The same understanding conveys the sinner to faith and repentance in the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ. Why would Adam and Eve not believe the Promise and live towards it in faith? They surely did and likewise any sinner can know that God's Word is true and be conveyed to Calvary where they can choose to surrender their works to finished work of Jesus Christ which is Hope eternal.
I was told that Adam and Eve tried numerous times to commit suicide after being thrust from the Garden of Eden. Is this true? Can you direct me to scriptures documenting this?
Thank you very much, Mishael & Chris. Sometime later, I too realized that I had come to the END of the chapters!! The only option was to proceed to the next chapter.
I happen to have a hardback version of NRSV: if I had only gone to another room to check it, I would have realized my mistake!
When you first enter the website you will first see TWO search boxes.
Pick the top one if you want to search a subject like "water baptism" or anything else that interests you.
Use the 2nd search box to read a particular book and chapters. You will see above the website Bible these symbols: < or >, to go to the next page or to go backwards.
The Books of Isaiah (& Joshua, which you enquired about) have only those verses in the chapters you mentioned. After the last verse you see, you will need to continue to read the Book in the following chapter(s). Are you asking this because you have seen more verses associated with these chapters? Unless you have manuscripts pre-12th Century, it would be impossible to get a Bible without chapters & verses.
We are one in Christ. Judgement is for those that reject our Jesus. Righteousness shall be accounted to those that cry ABBA father. to those that are converted. Glory to God in the highest. There is no God Like Jehovah

Verse 12 when there was no strange god among you .
The Lord only works within holiness .
Words: Fanny Crosby, 1887
"Though your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they be red like crimson,
They shall be as wool!"
"Though your sins be as scarlet,
Though your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow,
They shall be as white as snow."
Lord, my sins they are many, like the sands of the sea,
But Thy blood, O my Savior, is sufficient for me;
For Thy promise is written, in bright letters that glow,
"Though your sins be as scarlet, I will make them like snow."
IS MY NAME WRITTEN THERE? (hymn title)
"in the Lamb's book of life." Revelation 21:27
