These scriptures, I believe are prophecing about the millennial reign as it speaks of people from " all nations " going up to the holy hill & Christ will teach the people His ways. People will war no more.
You read where God will Judge all nations towards the end.
It's my understanding the new Jerusalem rests on this holy hill as well. Not 100% on that but pretty sure as Christ is ruling from his Holy temple.
The necessity of Israel to prosper economically in the last days is seen in verse 7. There will be the perceived descendant of David; who will be worshipped as the Messiah but in reality be the Antichrist who will no doubt bring the valiant display of wealth with the horses and regalia that King Solomon once had with all his excessive riches. The occult worship once again will be promoted (soothsayers; and religions from the "east" verse 6); see also v. 8 with worship of idols once again ensnaring the nation. We go forward in time from verses 9 through 21; once again with the theme of God judging the world in general; as well as Tarshish in v. 16. That could stand for a veiled reference to the USA who came originally from Spanish origin; or the actual city of Tarshish already receiving judgment shortly after Isaiah's writing. The collapse of cities and mountains elsewhere in scripture also are indicated in verses 14 and 15. Verse 22 shows the vanity of man in general; but certainly could be the false worship of the "savior" of Israel who also will be judged at the end of the Tribulation. Verses 1 through 5 indicate God's rule over the earth; submission of the nations who no longer use weapons of war; and the final repentance of Jacob; which would represent the remnant saved of Israel from "Jacob's trouble". These are clear indications of the Millennial rule of Christ after the 7 year judgments occur. The topographical changes of earth in verse 2 where Christ will rule and reign from Jerusalem show that the highest point will be in Jerusalem; and shows how the nations will come to it. Further details on this can be seen is Psalm 48.
The Bible is replete with the LORD's name: Jehovah (YHWH). There are of course other names that He is known by, according to His Position & Work. You can Google 'The Names of God', to learn more. But you mention Baha'ullah: his name means "glory of God". He is seen as the latest prophet of God & has a good following. However, when you examine his teachings, you will see that hidden behind his praises of God, he has a low regard of God's Son, Jesus Christ, treating him as just a prophet, as Mohammed & others do. When this happens and the Bible is reinterpreted, then falsehoods arise & we no longer have a true message from God for us but a lie through negation of Jesus' Sacrifice.
Yes it's very evil it is not a black or white thing. We are to forgive no matter what But not used as a rug mat! Although, Some may need counseling from a preacher or someone that is qualified and that can be trusted. Lots of prayers are needed. But with God all things are possible.
Hello, that is evil, a sin and has always been. I don't know what you mean by 'touchy subject' as it's black and white. In Mosaic law the punishment for this is death. Deuteronomy 22:25-27.
The Lord sent Joseph and Mary with Jesus into Egypt for 2 reasons.
1. To escape the murderous herod killing all the children.
2. fulfill prophecy OUT OF EGYPT I HAVE CALLED MY SON.
Matthew Chapter 2
13 ...the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
How is nonconsensual sex (rape) veiwed in the bible I'm seeking advice on how to comfort my significant other and dont quite know how but I know their very religious and would normally talk to their preist (adoptive parent) about it but this is such a touchy subject they dont want to tell them quite yet please help
Yes unfortunately so many have gotten so far from the truth chasing the world for worldly possessions that we cant get back home...but we need to get back to the basics of life. A heart that is pure and a love that is bright....
The East is referring to that which has contaminated the spirit of man through the matter of Nimrod and the building of Babel. Psalm 2 explains this perverted spirit in the heathen's rage against I AM and against His Anointed the Son of God. This was the stupidity and treachery of those who had the knowledge of the truth and the Covenant of Promise, and chose instead to be heathen and antichrist.
Verse 6 - Thou (God) have forsaken (let go, divorced) the house of Jacob (Israel) because they be replenished (fill, restore) from the East (Orient, Asia, by Asian people). Asians may not be part of the said lost tribe of Israel but were ancient people since the earth was divided after the flood and during the time of Peleg. Asians are often neglected in most discussions about who are God’s chosen
20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; 21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. WOW! great earthquake, great earthquake, in that day.
Verse 2 - "Mountain" means city. The City of the Lord shall be established above all cities in the world, and all nations will go there. God is going to build a great city for his glory.
Jerusalem is mentioned and nothing is said indicating that Palestinian people have any right to it or that ownership will change in the end time. God gives Jerusalem to whom He pleases and that city is special to Him, especially in the end time and that is where Christ will return and rule from there. So who have eyes to see, and ears to hear , take heed.
Verse 4 gives me such hope it is almost incomprehensible. Today's world is so far off that mark; seems demonic forces are everywhere. Truly only He can make nations abandon war. Peace and Righteousness directly from the Prince of Peace. It can't come soon enough for me.
This is a great chapter when jew and gentile shall together come to jerusalem to worship The Lord on Zion. This is the time when righteousness will overcome evil and shalom on earth as it is in heaven.
Hope for the future. Jehovah keeps account of what is happening on the earth. This verse says he has to set matters right respecting many people. We may not receive justice now, but God is aware of the offense and he will correct the wrong. He also promises peace and an end to violence.
Verse 4 shows the promise of global peace soon to come. There is so much hatred and war in the world, but this shows that God is going to cause all wars to cease and the whole earth will live in peace.
