Isaiah 28:10 and 13 appear to be repetitive in nature, but there is a significant difference that shows they mean two different things. In 28:10, the verse starts out, "For precept must be upon precept...", while in v. 12-13, "Yet they would not hear. But the word of the Lord was to them, precept upon precept..". In verse 10, God is declaring that His truth contained within the ordinances, commands, and statutes are best learned when repeated and heeded by those to whom it's spoken or read. However, if one simply wants to ignore the value of God's doctrines, then to them it becomes a repetitive list of do's and don'ts. Just so many rules that are too inhibitive and legalistic for a loving God to apply to them. Matthew Henry had it right in his commentary on these verses. Those who seek to serve the Lord build their lives upon the cornerstone of His Word (Jesus), while those who would serve themselves see the Bible as a stumbling block.
The descendants of Ephraim were said to be related to a son of Joseph with Asenath who was given to him by Pharaoh. Apparently, Manasseh was one of the descendants; and they were involved more with the Northern Kingdom and later disbanded. In any event; wherever the 12 tribes are in Israel today; the final treaty with "death and hell" (no doubt the Daniel 9:27 treaty)
(v.18) will be broken. Surely the cornerstone in verse 16 when ignored will bring Antichrist; and Christ Himself warned that they would accept one with his own name ( John 5:43). Their attempt to bring about a king; no doubt of Messianic Davidic decent will be brought to fruition with the bad fruit of this imposter. It is hard to say if the general drunken state will bring about the spiritual seduction that is implied here with the false prophets in verse 7 directly resulting in this deception; or if there is a general lack of discernment forseeing this event.
Verses 18 through 20 show the destruction coming; and the rest of the verses could have harvests that have a hidden meaning as to the firstfruits; then Christ at His coming comparing the rapture and later resurrection(s) to harvests-this is seen perhaps best with the barley harvest being first; and a wheat harvest (Tribulum) being a different process thrrough the fire as it were to extract the good grain. Other verses show the grape harvest; the trodding down as in Armageddon; as the final one; corresponding with bowl judgments in some respect.
We don't stop worshipping Sunday through Friday to make Saturday Special, Nor do we do that for any other day!! We need to understanding we're vessels!!
2 Timothy 2:20-21. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
WE DON'T FILL THESE VESSELS!!
We are LAMPSTANDS!! And OUR FATHER
supplies oil!!
Matthew 5:14-16. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
""TRUE"" Worship is not of ourselves!!
Ephesians 2:10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Worship is also NOT a place you Go!!
John 4:21, 23-24. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
We are fruit barriers!!!
John 15:5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
WE DON'T PRODUCE THE FRUIT!!!
WORSHIP IS A NEW LIFE, NOT A 9 TO 5.
The Sabbath day is everyday because we don't do it. CHRIST DID!! We join him in his rest.
1 Peter 3:20: "Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water."
All those who walked into the Ark, including the animals, before the flood, also walked out of the Ark when the water dispersed & the Ark settled on terra firma. So, 8 humans commenced the next generations of people on the Earth: Noah, his wife, three sons & their wives.
You cannot build, where there is no foundation. you cannot insert doors or windows where there are no walls. Everything must be done step by step. First things first.
You cannot build a roof if there is no structure with walls to support the weight of the roof.
So too, every precept must be upon precept, and you cannot add a precept where there are no precepts. To walk you must first be able to stand, to run you must first be able to walk. Stand, walk, run.
Growth and maturity come with the process of time.
Nothing just happens. Precept must be upon precept.
Babylon is "confusion" many today need to come out of her. This chapter speaks to me to only follow hashem. Babylon is a symbol of Satan's delusion and lies. Beware of the leaven of the pharisees.
In verse 24, the plowman who sows is God. In verse 25, the fitches, cummin, principal wheat, appointed barley and rie are men. In verse 26, God instructs them. Verse 27 is so cool because they will never be harmed. Being beaten out by the staff and rod means they're taught by God . In verse 28, the bread corn or wheat, barley and rie will not be harmed by evil or war. Read the Word and be blessed.
Much of the chapter is about judgment. God is the destroying storm, the one who trods those who err under his feet, the one who eats up the glorious beauty or pride of men. He is the spirit of judgment, the overflowing scourge that passes through and he who sweeps away the refuge of lies.
Continuing with verse 1, "glorious beauty" or what it is that fills you with pride is called a "fading flower" which means that it's all going to go away or be taken away. "The head of the fat valleys" means those with great wealth who wield power. "To be overcome with wine" means your eyes are filled with the material stuff of this world and you have no room for God in your heart of mind.
There's a lot of meaning in verse 1. "Crown of pride" means you're pretty vain. To be drunk here means you're following another doctrine apart from God. Ephraim could mean many different peoples because in Gen. 48:19, he was prophesied to become a "multitude of nations" (gentiles). "Glorious beauty" means you have a lot of stuff going on for yourself that you're very self-satisfied about (pride).
V. 11- "For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to His people". This is a prophecy of Acts 2:4; the tongues was the 'evidence' of the Holy Ghost being in them. A 'good feeling' cannot be witnessed by others; a verbalization can be witnessed. God has control of our tongue as this happens - not we ourselves. God, after all, is - alive, and puts His LIVE spirit in us.
The crown of God 's church who should be leading the people into an understanding of God 's law put restrictive doctrine over themselves where the cannot lie straight and cover themselves comfortably.........now so overcome with their wine that they actually vomit a load of lies onto the people that stinks right up to Heaven......Hear a little, there a little, Line upon Line of falsehood and unrest will eventually stumble all who try to gain entry into God 's kingdom to finally fall backward and curse the LORD for his trouble.
Verse 22... a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. A consumption is a lung disease and when nuclear fallout covers the earth by traveling on the jetstream, everyone will breathe it causing their lungs to disease. Consumption can also represent biodegradation which also will happen when the earth is covered with nuclear fallout.
God, in His infinite wisdom, knows that we mere mortals cannot take all his instruction at once! He is saying here, I believe, that we need to build upon His Word one little idea action at a time, until such time as we are together with Him!
Read Isaiah 28 from 14 to 19 it mentions Jerusalem This covenant Is the peace treaty that Israel will make with the antichrist for seven years .She will rebuild her temple give Judea back .When this agreement is confirmed this will start the seven year count down till the return of Jesus Christ .there 's more but this the basics
It says Common English Bible 28 10 Tzav la tzav tzav la tzav kav la kav kav la kav z eir sham z eir sham There are no such words on Hebrew these are just sounds that babies make read verse 9 To whom will God teach knowledge To whom will he explain the message To those just weaned from milk To those who have hardly outgrown the breast and then in verse 10 the prophet says that our opinion and talk about God and what He wants from us is just baby gibberish and the challenge then in the chapter is to feed on the real spiritual food that we as adult Christians need Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3 2 I have fed you with milk and not with meat for hitherto ye were not able to bear it neither yet now are ye able Mature believers need to grow in Grace every day
The act God had to do was strange because God is love and its a strange thing for Him to have to destroy, but IF HE DOES NOT THEN ITS LIKE A CONTAGIOUS DISEASE,WHICH IF NOT QUARANTINED WILL SPREAD AND DESTROY ALL.

Did you come up on it by accident?
It's peculiar you never hear their take on the means for salvation.
