I AM A LECTURER AT GLOBAL MERCY MISSION SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY IN GHANA ISAIAH 42 21 IS A PROPHETIC MESSAGE CONCERNING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THE LAWS BOTH AT SINAI AND MOAB THE 10 COMMANDMENTS THOUGH WAS A COVENANT WAS NOT CONFIRMMED WITH AN OATH WHILE THE COVENANT AT THE LAND OF MOAB WAS CONFIRMMED WITH AN OATH IT WAS CHRIST WHO CAME TO CONFIRMMED THE MT SINAI COVENANT THEN DECREED THE 2 IMMUTABLE LAWS FOR SALVATION SAKE HEB 6 17 19
During some prayer time, the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance this phrase "before they spring forth." God tells us His good plans, His promises BEFORE we actually see them. It is so important to be listening for the spoken word of God, the quickened counsel, encouragement that He best can give to us. Googling this phrase brought me to this website; seeing the context of this verse provides even more blessing and confirmation to continue to wait expectantly for the fulfillment of these spoken treasures.

This verse shows the importance of using God's name. He alone is the most glorious and we should not give praise to graven images or idols. This shows how we should not use idols in our worship.
Here we go again , God's name that is used in the Bible almost 7,000 times was wiped out in this verse again and replaced with Lord. And there are even people they really believe that Lord is name. Unbelievable. Even when some people have titles Lord and everybody knows that that is not their real name.
it says to me from experience that if you come to God in a state of utter dispear and you are so broken it just tears inside of you and you ask Him to help you He will not show you away and in thus brake you.

Jacques, It was correct to quote John 1:1. But I noticed you left out verse 18 in that same chapter. Thousands of people SAW Jesus. But my bible says no man has seen God at ANY time. So how can he be God? Also, at Mark 13:32 Jesus by his own addmission says he doen't know everything. How can he be God? Your God's knowedge is limited. My God knows everything.

Let me tell you something .. Jehovah was used for the Old testament .. We live in the New Testament now and do you find Jehovah in the New Testament. Jehovah was just another name for God .. Do you find them using Jehovahs name to cast out devils in the Old Testament ? NO !
