  • Jon on Isaiah 45 - 6 years ago
Even as God created the world in 6 days and claimed it to be all good, Yet if evil is bad (for humanism) I don’t suppose it is bad to the extent that God had created it as it were for a good reason, and not necessarily that we have a choice or free will in this matter. There are many sort of evils that a person cannot avoid with their free will or choice, ..but a limited if not a wishful stance.
  • Neil on Isaiah 45 - 6 years ago
    " I create evil"
We are given a free will, which implies more than one choice available.
The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was in the garden..
.so God created it for us to choose or not
we couldn't choose it if it was not available!
What was the Origin of evil if He didn't create it?Satan?
S couldn't create anything..he was restricted to "steal, kill and destroy"
    we choose !

  • Laura Marshall on Isaiah 45 - 6 years ago
God is blameless, there is no evil found in Him. God doesn't break His own Law, the 10 Commandments. God is Holy, Perfect, and without sin. In the original Biblical Manuscripts, the "Textus Receptus", the word "evil" correctly translated "tumult" means trouble. God brings tumult into the lives of evil doers. The KJV Bible is truest to the Manuscripts. satan is the originator of evil. Ezek. 28.
  • Carl Williams on Isaiah 45 - 6 years ago
The Chapter says, "I am the Lord there is none beside me", you don't know me but let me tell you who I am. You don't have to wonder anymore, I form light, create darkness, make peace, and create evil I the Lord do all these things. This eliminates the question why is there evil in the world? God created it. He does not tempt man with evil, or cannot be tempted with it, he tells us don't bother it.
  • Neil, in Canada on Isaiah 45 - 6 years ago
    Isa 45:7 "God creates evil"
God gave all of us a free will, which HE WON'T OVER RIDE! Simply put,(in my view) I eat ice cream, and there are all kinds of flavours...
I had never heard of "pralines and cream", so I tried it....now my favourite
If evil isn't there, you can't choose it.Free will requires 2choices at least
Good, evil qualify. If good only, no free will!
    That's why !

  • Louis on Isaiah 45 - 6 years ago
Isaiah 45-7 the lord proclaims that he creates good and evil and with that being said, he also created "free will" witch is, "choice". it is therefore in our power to choose, so we can not blame GOD nor anyone else for that matter when the time reckoning is at hand...

President Trump did not "Declare" or "Proclaim" Jerusalem to be the Capital of Israel; but "Officially Acknowledged" that fact. Israel named its own Capital, according to the 3000 plus tear old FACT! It is interesting how many haters of God and antichrists are making such an uproar about it! Not to feel sorry for them; but to take notice and keep in mind...we are in the end of the last days.

ISAIAH 45: Fulfilled when Donald Trump Declare Jerusalem "ISRAEL'S CAPITAL.
  • Bonsile on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
Our God is the only God to be worshiped. He is the Author of every situations in our life's. Anything that happens to you, you must know that God Has approved it whether bad or good, and the Word says give thanks to everything. I have a trust in Him because He is Love, the branch that bears fruits He cares and prunes it for He is the Faithful God.
  • Luigi on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
The Sovering Lord JEHOVAH' Did not create Satan which the word itself means oposer or contender , this angel was a perfect spirit creature and betrayed the lord and abandoned his position in the heavens, thus earning that name.Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Verse 18: Jehovah God created the earth to be inhabited. He did not create the earth just so it can be destroyed.
  • A disciple on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
"Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." It was told to Israel at the first, that they bring the Word to all Nations, and that they would first proclaim to them Peace, and make war only after they would not submit; ( Deut. 20:10-20): but Israel failed this. It was ever in the LORD's heart to save the world, and so it is now our calling.
  • Debbie on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
The word evil means bad like the verse about the bad figs. God doesn't do evil. He created good and therefore he created the opposite of good.
  • Lu2677 on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
Regarding this comment; "the evil came from Adam and Eve's sin, every evil came after the fall, evil was not before the fall" According to scripture evil existed before the fall; Gen.2:9,and 2:17 "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it:for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die" God planted this tree, then placed Adam and Eve in the garden.
  • Irene123 on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
JW - the evil came FROM Adam 'n Eve's sin. They are not separate entities. The first murder came AFTER the fall. Every evil came AFTER. Evil was not before the fall.
  • Irene123 on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
satan didn't 'send' anything to earth, much less tares. The tares are sinners who follow satan in their evil, sinful ways. They REJECT Jesus after having been told of Him and His plan of salvation - Acts 2:38. Just like everyone in Genesis who rejected God through Noah's preaching. Jesus tells us PLAINLY what the tares are. Read your Bible with prayer to Jesus to open your eyes.

Marquisha Jerry What's awesome is God put that next verse after how He created the earth as if He was saying open your eyes seek you will find truth and with Me, listening to Me, not man but with Me you will hear the truth of what the scripture say. His wisdom speaks in Proverbs 8vs 22-31 in 2 Peter 3vs 5-7how the old world which means world age perished. Jer.4 vs 23-27 but not to full end. Pray.
  • Marquisha Jerry on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
It's deep, and I like learning about the bible, and what I learned about Isaiah 45 was goid, and first time lookibg at that scripture the way I did which was awesome. Thanks for your information on the book of Isaiah chapter 45 God bless you
  • Word on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
God created Satan but he was Lucifer and God created all men with Freewill and some are evil. Satan sends his tares to earth written in Matt. 13:36-44 his children. They are his because they followed him to overthrow God on the throne but were cast down/ katabole. So you could say God created evil but if you believe God created evil the way some make it sound I wouldn't want to be you. God is Love
  • Word on Isaiah 45 - 7 years ago
God is saying He did not create the earth without form and void. If you check out the word "was" in verse 2 of Genesis it is "became" and the destruction is written in Jeremiah 4 and why? in Ezekiel when Satans Pride got to him and he tried to take the throne. If you google appendix 146 of the companion bible there are two terms for foundation and katabole to cast down overthrow. 2 Peter 3 helps.
  • BSP on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
God created this earth to be inhabited as verse 18 shows. This shows that God will always have a purpose for the earth and it is to be inhabited with the righteous.
  • Irene123 on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
To MT Maxwell - V. 7 says EXACTLY that. ".....and create evil, I the LORD do all these things." This is YOUR Lord God talking.
  • ELOISE on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
We are not to add or take away from what is written. Isaiah 54:7 says what it says. It did not say for punishment it clearly stated I make peace and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. We are not to try to guess or second guess what we think God meant to say.
  • Mim on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
j.w. God created everything in the universe. Including angels . Some of the angels rebelled against Our Father the Creator of all . Remember, The evil one was once an archangel who rebelled ,he is the cause of evil in the world, he was created by God just as was everything and everybody. That evil one we call satan. has been causeing evil since Adam and Eve. Hope this helps you .
  • JW on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
VERSE 7 SAYS GOD CREATED EVIL. MY CONFUSION IS ; EVIL CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT BEING USED. IF GOD CREATED EVIL HE HAD TO KNOW WE WOULD USE IT. HOW???? WHY???
WASNT BEING BORN INTO SIN HARD ENOUGH.
  • Word on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
So when reading scripture and you come across Jeremiah 1 and see God knew Jeremiah before and ordained him in his mothers womb and you notice that God loved Jacob but hated Esau you must know that to hate someone you have to had lived with them as with love the same. In Ephesians chater 1 the chosen and predestined were chosen before the foundation of the world, meaning before this earth age.Elect
  • Word on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
We learn in proverbs 8 God with His wisdom He created a beautiful earth and wisdom doesn't created chaos. Without form and void means it was a wilderness. In 2 Peter 3:5 to 7 you see the earth that was had been submerged in water and that was the first flood of Jeremiah 4. Back to 2 Peter 3:7 you see Peter saying, this earth now that I'm standing on is kept in store reserved until Judgment day.
  • Word on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
In Jeremiah 4:22 to 27 when God got mad at Satan our Father made the earth Void and if you look up the word WAS its 1961 in the Hebrew hayah and it means BECAME without form and void in Genesis chapter 1 vs 2. The earth was not created without form and void God told us in this 18th verse He established it perfection implied and formed it Himself. God knew Jeremiah an God Knows us FIRST EARTH AGE.
  • Word on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
We have eternal Father God eternally billions of years .18th vs Father says he created a world for us beautiful to be inhabited. In Job 38 vs 7 all the sons of God and His stars which means all created souls whole family shouted joy at this beautiful home for us in spiritual bodies. Rev 12 vs 4 Satan an third of the children go against God and his tail cast them to earth as tares Matt 13 vs36 to44
