This verse shows that God's purpose will always take place as He has planned it. There is nothing that can stop his purpose or his words from coming true. Once God has spoken something, it will take place. This is very awe inspiring and comforting to know that we can put confidence in everything that God says.

I don't know that is why Iam doing research on this particular scripture. Would like to know when mountain and hills are mentioned what it is in reference to; People, multitudes or what?

I truly give thanks and glory to GOD that HIS ways and HIS thoughts are not the same as our ways and thoughts.

The HOLY SPIRIT gave me this verse,in a time when I
Needed help. I went to the
NASB with cross references to try to get every in italics in each line. This gave me so much more

God's thoughts and ways are so much higher than ours that there are some things that we can't understand. The way we might think and reason on a matter is so inferior when compared to God's way of doing things. It is truly humbling to meditate on the meaning behind this verse.

If a man is ready to come His presence, He will give him Word (vs 2), life (vs 3), covenent(vs3), Mercy and pardon(vs 7),High ways(vs9), Peace and Joy(vs12)and Prosperity(vs13). Amen.

God wants us to come to Him there is no cost, all we have to do is come as we are. I had a wonderful praise this morning. And I expect Him to do just as He says. Join me in this great expectation.

AWESOME VERSE.

Isaiah 55 and most of the Bible is very inspiring. If one reads closely the words will definitely open your eyes and mind and get you thinking. Come back in a month or so and read the same verses and you may even see things a bit differently. That is why reading and re-reading the scriptures are so important to me.

God always give us the best,as He gave His only begotten son to die for us.

Handy way to study the Bible.

God's ways are very subtle, established and with multipurpose. But man's ways are very limited and there is no guarantee that they can be fruitful. The Divine consciousness is transcendental whereas human consciousness is ever fluctuating.

This is so true "God’s word will never return void", for owe to speak his word and apply it to ourselves, we are sending his message out, and he will overcome all trails any of us might be encountering.

God ever is great in every thing.

It is important for us to seek the Lord, and not for God to seek us. He has already done so much for us, already made a way, so why not go to him and take it all. It is free, no charge. So do not wait, take it now.

There is power in speaking the Word of God. When we speak His word, we activate the Spirit of the Word, and God rises up and takes care of the situation we are faced with, you speak that which is hidden in your heart. THE WORD OF GOD.

ISRAEL HAS BEEN PARDONED BY GOD! JACOB HAS BEEN GIVEN THE LORD'S MERCY! ISRAEL MUST CONTINUALLY SEEK
THE LORD HE IS NOT HIDING, JACOB MUST CALL ON HIM HE IS VERY NEAR! ISRAEL MUST REMEMBER SHE IS SANCTIFIED
BY GOD!

God's words are powerful and can do all things.

( Isa 55:11) says,
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Let us focus on the word "GOETH FORTH" amen!
Meaning once we speak God's word coming from our mouth to the lost (people)it says it will not return to God VOID but it will accomplice to whatever God pleases! It is the word of God that we will speak & who will convict us to know the truth the truth that will set us free ( John 8:32)
Thru the word of God nothing is impossible with God to those who will believe in him.
And i say to you you cannot understand the word of God if our hearts is closed ( Rev 3:20)

What i understand from this verse is to buy the truth and sell it not because Jesus has already paid the price for us we easily gain access to his grace, any good things we want in life but we can continue in this if we live right with God that is the truth.

oh my God what a powerful verse. My ways are not the Lord's so I clinge unto Him to show me His ways which are the best to life.

I'm excited especially with verse 5, to the effect that I'll call not only a business opportunities or wealth, but a whole nation will I call and the same will respond running to me!! Seeking the Lord will cause the glory of the Lord to shine upon the seeker's life till that person reaches a stage in which they'll say, "I claim this and this and this for Jesus Christ!!". We are called to influence the whole globe and all its nations for Christ, Glory to God!!

Verse 12 was a song we used to sing in sunday school. Reading it brought good memories, and reading it now brings out some of the real meaning of why we were singing it...

absolute poetry, pleasing to the soul,why would we struggle against such a buetiful plan

Find the Lord while he may be found , now is the time... soon the doors of life will be closed when man can work no more. God is extending his hand to every one that will seek him and turn from their wicked ways. He has every thing you need and with out cost. You can't put a price on the Love of Jesus and all that he has for you. The Love of Jesus and the Peace of God endureth forever.

How amazing!!!!God's love for mankind is;passed our comprehension.He calls us to Himself to receive:mercy,forgiveness,peace,joy,grace,healing,love and so much more for FREE(we don't have to work to ACHIEVE these)...Ours is just to RECEIVE,since JESUS paid it ALL for us.THERE IS NO GOD LIKE JEHOVAH.

God blesses His people with His words they are our life line in times of trouble. He speak His greatness toward us in His word and let us know it will not fail!!!!

We are born sinners. There is, and are, profound differences between the Creator and the created. This passage is so much like the invitation of the Lord Jesus when he said,"Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I shall give you rest." Thus, "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.", means that if you have any interest in being saved, call upon him, for he is abundant in mercy and thru forgiveness of sins, purchased by the blood of Christ on the cross, will save you for eternity.

But what does it mean? I am a Sunday School teacher of the 5th and 6th graders, How would you explain Isaiah 55:8 to them?

To me this verse is saying that while God is a higher more powerful being he is watching over us, allowing us the freedom of choices but He is there to pick us up when we choose the wrong way.
