I was just thinking about Isaiah 53:5....He was wounded for out Trangressions. And Bruised for our initiquites:...And the Chastisment of our Pease was laid upon him....And by his stripes we are healed....And another place he was touched by the feelings of our Infirmities....If we are not touched by the feeling of ppls infirmities we are not of God....If we have no feelings for a sick and a dying world we are not of God as God is love...We should wana help folks that are in need....I'm talking about wanting to help ppl with a Passion that burns like a fire in our Hearts.

.....If there is one attribute or one Spirit that defines God its Love.....Love fulfills the whole law and the Prophets as Jesus said....To love God with all our hearts and our neighbor as our selves. If you can do this you are not far from the Kingdom of God...Jesus said.

If any man believe in me and the works that i do, these works shall he do and greater then these will he do.. John 14:12....B/c i go to the Father...impling the seed sowing mode is only by the FATHER when the book is opened that we might all get a seed that we might birth Christ in us...The son of man....Resulting in a baby Christ being born in us....My lil Children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you....The Babes and Sucklings that Jesus said cd Praise God with a perfect praise..outta of the mouths of babes and sucklings thou has perfected PRAISE... Matthew 21:15....Then we will do the works Jesus did and greater.

.....As God is spirit and them that worship him must worhip him in Spirit and truth....Which answer to the babes and sucklings....Our new innerman the H.G. The Children of Promise....our new hearts and new spirits....An Israel of God...Christ in us the hope of Glory.

    Frank,

Jesus Christ is your peace. The peace that the bible speaks of is not an emotional feeling we have. Peace is a person, and that person is Christ. What you are describing makes perfect sense. When we receive Christ, we do become a new creation in Him.

Once we are saved, Satan knows he has lost us forever to Christ. He can't take our salvation away. So what does he do now? He occupies the attention of our mind (MERIMNA) to keep us distracted and away from the things of the Lord so that there will be no spiritual growth. He cannot take us away from Christ so he attacks us and tries to keep our minds occupied and distracted on the things of this world in order to keep us from the things of the Lord.

We're saved, but Satan does everything in his power to hinder our growth process, because that is the next step after salvation, to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Satan cannot touch our spirit because, in order to do that, he would have to penetrate God's Spirit that lives in us, and he can't do that.

Even though we become a new creation in Christ, all the scars from our previous life, our life before coming to know the Lord, remain stuck in the cortex of our brain. And at times those things pop up and cause us to sometimes even question our salvation.

My dear brother, please know that you have perfect peace in Christ Jesus!

Caught Up in the Clouds. I think it was the Greek word, Rapta, that started the controversy.

    Sometimes called the Last Day
  • Ken - In Reply on Isaiah 57 - 4 years ago
Correct, at the last trump (after the seven years of Tribulation), the Church is absent from any associated text. It is because the Church was raptured (harpazo) prior to the tribulation period...

We await the final count of the gentiles (and converted Jews) to come in.

At that point of the final number, the rapture occurs, the Bride of Christ (the Church) is taken away, the Age of Grace ends, and Daniel's 70th week begins... not a good time nor place to be here on Earth. The Bible says that the sorrow and grief will be unlike any period preceding. Envision the Holocaust again, only worse...

1 Corinthians 15:52 even states when Christ will return ... at "the last trumpet"

the Greekbword for Trump here isvthe clarion call or the last call as in a bar and is only found in 1 other place ... Revelation at judgement ... there is no "rapturing" the church out .

    Hi John

    Taken from gracethrufaith...(Jack Kelley)

The English translation of 1 Thes. 4:17 , where Paul introduced the rapture, reads in part,

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

In the Greek language the word translated "caught up" is harpazo. It literally means to seize, or carry off. About 1700 years ago, when the Bible was translated from Greek into Latin, they used a word we pronounce "rapture" to translate harpazo. (Rapture is a word of Latin origin that also means "to carry off".) Not being a Greek word, rapture is not part of the original language of 1 Thes. 4:17. And since our English Bibles are translated directly from Greek, it doesn't appear in our translations either. But while the word itself is not there, the event it describes certainly is.

Word study credit goes to Jack Kelly gracethrufaith

    Blessings,

    Ken

When God wrote the Bible did he make a mistake and leave out the Word Rapture? Because the Word rapture is not in the Bible nor does it ever describe a rapture. When doing researching, one will find, (what will happen to those that are asleep will rise first, then the ones that are still remaining will be caught up...etc) This is TOTALLY 2nd coming of Christ.

1.) What will happen to the dead.

    2.) Second coming

That is all the Bible ever

    talks about!

    God LOVES all his children

God remind us that even the righteous perish, we all must return back to the dust that why it's so important to walk a Christian life best as possible and seek the Lord for strength, we cannot do it on our own. temptation come before us we need help to over come it, it so important to have a connection with the Lord. if we're not careful the littles temptation seem harmless and will lead us astray, let us seek Lord with all our heart.

(2018, more, more, more cries the world, while refusing to accept GOD'S SALVATION.) Verse 21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
  • Randy on Isaiah 57 - 6 years ago
Could verse 1 be the rapture? And will there be so few that nobody notices? Remnant? Make every effort to make sure of your salvation. Have to be 'righteous'. Bible says sin is all unrighteousness. God be thanked that we were sinners, but have believed from the heart that form of doctrine that was delivered us. Now being free from sin, we become servants of righteousness. Jesus took away our sins!

Verse 20 "But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. Verse 21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked".
WOW! WOW! WOW! Today / this hour the wicked is artfully putting it armys in place around the world so Church ensure indivisualy we have put on the 'Whole Armor Of God' because the last, final crusaide against the Church has started.

God comforted me with verse when my lovely hearted sister-in law died. I was so hurt by it that sitting at my desk the Lord told me to read this passage and my tears dried up. She was my student in Sunday school as well. Jesus cares about our pain and consoles us with his words. We are passing through, we didn’t come to stay. But nevertheless when loved ones leaves, it hurts and don’t understand.
  • A disciple on Isaiah 57 - 7 years ago
Peter; I'm so sorry about your daughter. There are no words to express the pain and sorrow; and little we can do to comfort other but weep and pray. This is an evil world and our time is short; and the ones whom we love are most precious and so very much needed. Our comfort and strength is Jesus, who stands with us; and the Word He has promised to wipe away all our tears. You shall see her again!
  • Rev Peter Ratcliff on Isaiah 57 - 7 years ago
Yes, my daughter was taken when just over 3 and a half. We are sure the Lord has done all things well. Our God has prepared great things for us in glory and we won't be disappointed. It puts things in perspective to have had such a loss. Wonderful Saviour!

Verse 15 shows that Jehovah God desires to revive the lowly in spirit and those who are crushed in heart.
  • Irene123 on Isaiah 57 - 7 years ago
    V. 57 - It says the RIGHTEOUS shall be taken away from the evil to come. Isaiah was a prophet and the Lord gave him this prophecy of the Rapture - before the evil, i.e. GREAT tribulation. We will and do have tribulation in our walk with Him, as one on here has said, because Jesus (Himself no less) - said so. But we know it's not the WRATH TO COME - Jesus said so, Rom. 1:18. UN - righteousness!!.

His mercy endures the foever. If you believe. We have to go through somethings. If we are not tested how would you now you are saved. Through Christ we are conquerors.
  • Norm on Isaiah 57 - 8 years ago
Some say our SAVIOUR will pour His wrath upon both the righteous and unrighteous which is a most-unrighteous belief in itself. Do not strive with these but rejoice in the truth of the Father's Word and preach the truth as you receive it from Him. We must love our enemies. In Christ, God bless you. Psalms 31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. Psalms 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love. Psalms 145:20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
  • Norm on Isaiah 57 - 8 years ago
Ed, God bless. With all thanks to the LORD JESUS, that is the meaning of Isaiah 57:1. There is tribulation now and the world is nearing great tribulation which is the wrath of God on the children of disobedience. Yet some deny the LOVE of the truth and try to belittle our LORD'S sacrifice. 2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
