I think we should "rightly divide the word of truth", this verse is speaking of the New Heavens (remember God is in the Third Heaven) and Earth, nothing about the previous Earth shall be remembered.

    On Isaiah 65.

Verse 1 caught my eye when He said " I am sought of them that ask not for me; I am found of them that sought me not. Whether we ask not He is always there to help us. He knows what our needs are before we ask. Psalms 100:3 says it is God that hath made us not we ourselves. He knows our going out and coming in. I thank Him for always being there for me during both my good and bad times. I read this chapter and comments through watery eyes. This proves that God is waiting for us to come to Him, He has the answer.

    Amen.

I've always loved this text from the very first time I discovered it. Somehow, because of not having constant Bible studies, I forgot what it says exactly. Today, a certain preacher quoted it in his presentation. The reference on the screen was wrong, so it prompted me to look for it. When I found it, I fell in love with it once again and I asked God to help me grow an interest in personal and meaningful Bible study.

Stanjett - Yes. What reason does anyone have to overwrite the new testament with the old? God ordered His Word the way he did for a reason. That reason is for us to follow It in HIS ORDER.
I think Jesus cleared up any and all confusion over Mosaic Law with these verses in Matthew 22:

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
    >> 40 On these two commandments hang ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS. <<

WOW, WOW, WOW!! This whole chapter is better than cool water to a thirsty person on a hot summer day. 1 example is: 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Every Creature of God is good,Nothing to be Refused, if it's Received with Thanksgiving. You said this and then reversed yourself. God told him raise and eat and he said Not so Lord for I have not eaten any unclean things all my days. God said to him, "What God has cleaned, call ye not unclean."

Verse 20~Although we must show respect to older ones, we can offer correction if they are sinning and doing wrong. The older one is not exempt from correction no matter how old they are.

The latter part of this chapter shows the blessings that the repentant remnant of Israelites enjoyed and it foretells the blessings that we can experience under the rule of God's Kingdom in the future.

Verses 17-25 are a wonderful promise of heaven. We get to see a glimpse of Life after the earth has been re-created (after the 2nd coming) These promises are for anyone who accepts Jesus as their personal savior. By worshipping on the seventh day Sabbath we acknowledge his mark of authority.

Isaiah was one of the prophet whose spoke mostly about Israel sinful act against God. He mainly told the people to repent and change from their evil deeds. But God who is a loving person, He always listen to our request and forgive us.

I started a fasting this morning, and I was intending to break it at 1 pm. my main aim of this fasting prayer was to ask God to prepare me for the upcoming interview, for God to equip me for doing his will on the day of the interview. just after 12pm,before 1 pm, I received a call from my colleague, who informed me that she has material for me that will prepare me for the interview. this was indeed a manifestation of Isaiah 65 v 24 that before I even ask God to equip me, God has gone ahead answered my prayer....before I even break the fasting... God has already given me an answer.

I have just witnessed the almighty moved his hand throughout my life in such a way where there is no shadow of doubt exist in my mind about his existence. Long long story short, I have been sick for roughly 3 months undiagnosed. I have seen several doctors and specialists and they were unable to diagnose me. My symptoms were many. I have been rushed to the hospital for stroke where I was unable to speak and unable to move. I had a twitch on the left side of my face that would not go away and damaged a few cranial nerve. The neurologist prescribed two different types of seizure meds. I didn 't take it because I knew I was not diagnosed with seizure. I was depressed, discouraged, hopeless, fatigued, and miserable. I cried to the Almighty and asked Him to restore my health. I reminded, not like He needed a reminder, that I had a one year old that needs me. My God heard my cry. He delivered my soul.... while I was yet speaking, He heard.

God knows our heart b4 we ask anything he knows it, as jeremiah 1 5 says "before i formed thee in the belly i knew thee.. " in the same way before we think of anything he knows it and answer us
