  • What Happens In Cases of Abortion or Miscarriage on Jeremiah 30:9 - 3 years ago
In the Bible, God says "ALL SOULS ARE MINE.

If someone aborts that baby, the Baby's soul goes into Gods arms. God mercifully takes them before the pain and dismemberment.

At the Rapture, God is going to take all children under the age of accountability, to Heaven. "Suffer the little children to come unto Me." He's not going to leave them here to be killed by Antichrist.

I lost a child due to miscarriage. We named him and had a funeral. I'll see him again.

There are Scriptures that indicate that Jesus will reign on the Throne of David but not about any co-regency with him.

Isaiah 9:7, "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this."

Luke 1:32,33, "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."

David will rise again at the general resurrection & may even figure prominently under the ruler-ship of Christ, but it will only be Jesus as seen & worshipped at His Throne.

The immediate events of the carrying away of Babylon were done for an instruction to their perfect fulfillment in the completion of the age and the coming of Christ. The actual release of Israel from captivity under the reign of the Times of the Gentiles, will be in the day that they see Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven to save them; in the day when they once and for all shall be converted.

"Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." With the view of God's eternal power and divinity, we must recognize that time is servant to eternity, and His Words are forever until they are completely accomplished. What was begun with the carrying away of Babylon, continues to evolve until the Day of the LORD.

Jer. 30:14 for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with a chastisement of a cruel one". jeremiah 30:15 "Why criest thou for thine afflictions; thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity(sin) because thy sins were increased,I have done these things to you."(God wounds, cruel one,He increased their sins) Some say"He's not cruel, doesn't hate, doesn't change.Does he change?

  • Irene123 on Jeremiah 30 - 7 years ago
Who sets on what throne - is not pertinent to salvation. That's all God's business - AFTER we are saved - Acts 2:37 (what must we do?); 2:38.
  • Michael C. on Jeremiah 30 - 8 years ago
Cindyt; there are many places which speak about who will sit on thrones in the coming kingdom of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, will sit upon the throne of His glory over all the earth. David shall be raised up to sit upon his own throne, under the Lord, along with the Apostles, and Prophets, and Saints; to whom God will give the kingdom. Mt 19:28-30; Rev 20:4-6; Dan 7:27; etc.
  • Cindyt on Jeremiah 30 - 8 years ago
Michael C. David will be resurrected as all believers will be, but it is Jesus Christ Himself who will sit on David's throne. "The LORD hath sworn in truth unto DAVID; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon THY [DAVID'S] THRONE. Psalm 132:11-12. Jesus is the seed of David--David's fruit which will sit on David's throne.
  • Michael C. on Jeremiah 30 - 8 years ago
"Here is the patience and the faith of the Saints." Every soul belongs to God, to give life, and to take it away. The present evil world cannot go on indefinitely under the dominion of the heathen. When Jesus came to the earth announcing the Glad Tidings; He began by laying down His life for our redemption and reconciliation to God; and He will complete that work by His coming in power and glory.

Sometimes we walk with God without full knowledge of is ways, when we go against is will, He corrects us but there are some sins that can not go without repercursion this is where we have wounds and abandonment.

"Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob 's trouble but he shall be saved out of it. Jeremiah 30:7 " This whole chapter just encouraged me, I am so glad that the Lord will come to you with a word again and again just like he did Jeremiah. I am glad that even when a day is great your in a place that you 've never been before that God is still in control and he lets us know he will save us. My preacher has preached recently on how sometimes we may go through things and it have nothing to do with us, or it may be to strengthen us, sometimes we just really do not know. But we are to keep going for the Glory of the Lord because of what He has done for us, and He has already promised that we have the victory.

But every effort to heal ourselves must prove fruitless, so long as we neglect the heavenly Advocate and sanctifying Spirit. The dealings of His grace with every true convert, and every returning backslider, are the same in effect as his proceedings to the Jews. I always wondered how this applied to us, the church. I 'm thankful that this commentary pins it. The words are there not so that we can judge them, but understand that the same God deals the same with all men for He is no respecter of persons. So glad to have found this key statement in the commentary "The dealings of His grace with every true convert, and every returning backslider, are the same in effect as his proceedings to the Jews. "

    To Maxwell
Yes, I believe Jacob's trouble is 3 1/2 years, not the 7 years most believed. First 3 1/2 years are Satan-inflicted, so expect God's people still around, but the latter 3 1/2 years after the 6th seal -- God's wrath -- definitely not for God's people.
