Jeremiah Chapter 42 Discussion

Our current situation is grave, but not over whelming; because our GOD is sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. Jeremiah waited 10 days, Daniel waited 21 days. We Saints shall wait patiently for the LORD and HIS answer.

May we be faithful in our SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, as we wait. We are called to be fruitful in our carrying out HIS desire for us. To make disciples Matthew 28: 18-20; to pray for those in authority 1 Timothy 2:1-3; submit ourselves to GOD and resist the devil James 4: 7, 8.

GOD to shine HIS face on all the saints and bless us that we may also be a

    blessing unto others.

THIS people, who feign themselves humble and seeking the LORD, but have already set their minds upon the fantasies of their own hearts instead of having a true and understanding heart, or to at all be converted and to obey and fear the voice of the LORD; even they shall be the cause for this whole Nation to perish; because they know not me and do not seek me, saith the LORD; and I know not them.

Some people will ask for Godly advise just for a show -- if it agrees with their decision, they will follow, but if it disagrees, they will follow their decision anyhow. God judges on the heart, they think they can fool God.

Jeremiah waited for 10 days, to receive a word from the Lord for the people.
He waited patiently, and the word came.
Today, we're so impatient with God, it is "God, now or never!"
We can take a cue from Jeremiah.
If we wait patiently on God when it comes to sensitive issues, God would lead and we won't make mistakes.
