Hello Ngula. In my understanding, applying "teacher of righteousness" to the verse in Joel 2:23 is incorrect. This application is found in the Targum & Vulgate (from an old Jewish interpretation) where the normal reading & understanding of the verse has been altered. Why they have done this, I cannot be sure.
In the KJV, "...for he hath given you the former rain MODERATELY...", is from the Hebrew, 'tsedaqah', which generally means 'righteously'. This implies that God has given & will give them the former rain righteously (in correct measure, in right proportion), or as in the KJV, 'in moderation'. To make this verse, and the following verses that complement it (vv24-26) to mean something else, is in my opinion mistreating God's Word. Unfortunately, this other rendering was adopted into the AV margin.

Hi Rohit. I think you're referring to some of Jesus' last words to the apostles in Acts 1:4,5. Or maybe to Peter's preaching to those unbelievers during Pentecost in Acts 2:14-21 (as written by the prophet Joel).
If so, then Peter was referring to Joel 2:28-32. A part of this prophecy has taken place at Pentecost (the birth of the Church) and the latter part of the prophecy (vv 30,31) is yet to take place. But all these events are placed in what is referred to as 'the last days' (i.e. the whole period of time from Jesus being sacrificed for our sins, His Spirit poured out upon those who've come to Him in faith, & the Church moving on & growing through evangelization & strengthening of the faithful, & eagerly waiting for the time when God finally begins to close the curtains of this age).
The promise began to be fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out, and it was continued in the converting grace and miraculous gifts conferred on both Jews and Gentiles.
The judgments of God upon a sinful world, only go before the judgment of the world in the last day. Calling on God supposes knowledge of him, faith in him, desire toward him, dependence on him, and, as evidence of the sincerity of all this, conscientious obedience to him.
Those ONLY shall be delivered in the great day, who are now effectually called from sin to God, from self to Christ, from things below to things above.

Thank you Mishael. God saved me too. Praise God. The false New Age worldview of "God Consciousness" and "Christ Consciousness," the "Cosmic Christ," the I AM, is extremely prevalent in our culture. Oprah Winfrey, Deepok Chopra, Marianne Williamson, you name it, all espouse this philosophy. I was drawn to Zen Buddhism because my "self" was so painful (read: sin) and Buddhism promised "No Self" or enlightenment, or freedom from self, through meditation, mantras, etc. As I said, all I got was more stuck in self, and sin. But I didn't know it as sin then. Hinduism, yoga, the I AM practice (parroting "I AM, knowing I AM as the name of God, over and over, in order to BECOME God) was the next empty effort. Failure upon failure. More stuck than ever. I am grateful for all my false avenues, to win so great a Saviour. This belief in this "New Age Jesus" (false Christ) or "Universal Consciousness as Love" is so prevalent in our society, and it has infiltrated the Church, in many ways. God Bless you Mishael. I AM became a mantra. there was no need of any gospel, no need of any Blood of the Lamb. It is a huge movement in the New Age, Richard Rohrs book has influenced many, many people. It is really Hindu philosophy, meditating on "I AM" to lead you to Unity Consciousness, or God Consciousness. Everybody can say, "I AM" and so everybody has Christ.... When I lived in the Zen Buddhist center in my 20's, we all had a "mantra," a word you say over an over again, later on I tried "I AM" as a mantra. What I got was more stuck in my mind, fallen prey to another delusion. The Lord is a Person. The fallen self cannot keep saying the name of the Lord and become a god, as I found out. As believers, it's our personal responsibility to exemplify Christ in the culture by our life, word, resources, and by engaging in the political process as fully as the government allows. In reality, what we really want is for someone else to accomplish what God says is our job.

he is very much a believer of this "Universal Christ' and this "Light of God" being in all beings..... a very Hindu idea.
To someone who has not met the Lord, not been born again, the idea of God being a "Person" seems very constricting,
very narrow, hence the great appeal of the unsaved flocking to the "Universal Christ.'
