Lord Jesus i thank you for sacrificing for my life, i give honor and glory unto your Name.

God of heaven,the creator of the universe doest nt condemn but corrector,and 4 that jesus was sent to this sinful world not to comdemn anyone but to bring life to us who sinned and subjected to death,jesus died in our behalf.

Since we know that Jesus came from heaven, He alone can speak with absolute authority and certainty on all matters about God, Heaven, our purpose and so on. He should know, He came from heaven. All other religions, though claiming divine inspiration, are simply speculation and wishful thinking based on obseving nature and best guesses.

Scripture with scripture. That's the way to understand God's word ( 1 Cor 2:13). You must be saved first though ( 1 Cor 2:14). Jesus said you have to be "born again" thats because the first birth is not going to get you to Heaven. That's what he spake of when He said " That which is born of flesh is flesh;" ( First birth is flesh). Then Jesus said, " that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." ( This is the second birth)Water is a reference to a physical birth ( Gen 1:20, Pr 5:16-18, Isa 41:1). Did you check the verses. You better. Heaven and Hell are going to be one of your homes for eternity.

The only way to make it to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Faith with out works is dead. Just because you believe in Jesus Christ that alone is not enough to make it into heaven. We must be saved. Study thy word to prove yourself worthy unto God.

This verse definitely does not mean water baptism since we know that we are saved by grace and not by works and being baptized would be works. This verse is saying that one first has to be born to be eligible for salvation. When Jesus said that you have to be born again, this of course means that you have to be born the first time as well.

This verse shows how great and deep God's love is for us. This should move us to show our faith in him. We must do more than just believe God exists, but we need to believe Him, his word, and his promises. We should show our love for God by our actions each day.

I would like to thank Richard for his insight on this verse. He put a entirely new way of explaining it that is detailed and yet so easy to understand in a much easier way. I knew basically what the verse meant but could not put it into words but the way he worded it and the examples given is so clear. Thank you.

"For god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever belief in him should not perish but have everlasting life" I never really understood that before but now i do lord i thank you for sacrificing your son for my sins and i believe in you so i will start to walk by faith and not by sight because now i know that i will not stumble or fall and i will walk and not faint. verse 16 is one of the most misunderstood verses in Christianity today. We need to go back to verse 5 and remember that Jesus clearly told Nicodemus that he must be born of the water and spirit to enter the kingdom of heaven. In chapter 4 Jesus hints of the coming holy spirit while talking to the Samaritan woman. Other chapters in John also talk of the coming holy spirit which would arrive after Jesus was glorified. I don't believe we are saved by just believing because Jesus told Nicodemus that you must be born of the water and spirit. We find the arrival of the Holy Spirit in chapter 2 of Acts. The first message of salvation of the church age is Acts 2:38 repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I believe John 3:16 is referring to a trust and belief in Jesus which leads to obedience of faith and not a salvation of just simply believing in Jesus.

Please explain why some versions delete the.."shall not perish"... Portion of this verse.

John 3:6 Highlights how very different our flesh and spirit are. We can never percieve spiritual things by any means of the flesh - we can only percieve spiritual things by receiving the word of God and having faith.

this is what u call unconditional love between a father in a son. ask yourself, would you give your son life up to save anyone for any cause. only a true God of all power could make such a decision. he is the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. no man could every withstand the walk jesus have taken.

I believe and rejoice and see the urgency of telling the lost to come, listen, and believe for the end of the church age keeps drawing nearer. You must receive salvation while it is still day because judgment day and the night is coming.

Yes, God so loved the world, and He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him(JESUS)should not perish...we have to believe with JESUS alone and obey His commandments to get into heaven.

Praise be to Jesus, Son of God, Savior of mankind! He is my Redeemer, my Savior, and my Great Physician and Healer. He has taken my terrible arthtis pain away, when the ER doctors were no help at all. I will forever pray before I bother with earthly people and things. Praise be to Jesus, He who loves me through to my soul! Amen!

For God "SO" Loved - meaning madly in love, loved beyond the norm... That He said if you believe in my Son, you will have everlasting Life. The Criteria to go to Heaven or have eternal life is for us to believe in Christ. Believe in what He did for us and you would have eternal life. That is Love! unconditional love! Never question if you have eternal life if you believe and accepted Jesus in your life because you do. He said it and His Word is unchanging and uncompromising. Isaiah 55:10-11 says it.

it is great since the master infacise on the aspect of being born again so that we may inherit the kingdom of GOD and he said whe a man is born of the flesh is flesh but born of the spirit is spirit glory am a child of the spirit so i have no limit in the life

The Book of John Chapter 3 is all about love of God to everyone of us. He wants to give us and eternal life.

John, the thief on the cross was UNDER the law, therefore baptism was not essential for his salvation. The requirements of new testament salvation are completely different from the law. The Apostle Paul explains this in Romans.

this verse tells the believers what is love and how to love and whom to love. so we should love to GOD with all power, whole body, soul & spirit.
